226. I think it is totally racist what Jamie Fox said! Why are only caucasian people called racist? I think it's time to stop playing the race card! If your outraged by slave owners take it up with the people who owned them! Stop accusing people who live today for what never happened to you! It was a very dark period in American history but for all the out cry over what happened 200 years ago, OPRAH has been the one shinning star in the black community! Put your money where your loud mouth is and make the world a better place! PS there is still slavery in America it's called SEX SLAVES and it can happen to any RACE!!!!

227. Here's a quote from post 45:

And wasn't Jamie foxx always making fun of Michael Jackson..... he use to talk like michael and make crude remarks about Kids and have that stupid look on his face....... Moreless saying he though michael did all that stuff.......

Yes he has made derogatory comments about M.J. in the past. Very embarassing stuff. Let's hope someone is able to find old video recordings of it and posts it on youtube. It will make him look like an even bigger jerk than he already does.

This is one of the reasons I choose to block BET on my TV.

228. Look, how evil Jamie Foxx. Just because one stupid sentence, it destroyed everyone. Black and white start fighting just because ONE stupid comment he made. This world has not change a lot. I feel really sad. Please, stop the argument already. It's all your fault Jamie. R.I.P Michael.

229. Jamie Foxx is a complete jackass. So many black celebrities mocked Michael Jackson because of his plastic surgery and other changes. His comments about Michael being a black man and 'belonging to us' are exactly what Michael Jackson was trying to avoid. Michael's greatest gift to music was his ability to make it universal and not to care if his audience was black, white, yellow or whatever. A lot of these celebrities are hypocrites, standing up for Michael now that he's gone but skewering him when he was alive. It's disgusting.

230. I can't begin to express how glad I am to see that I am not the only person who thought the comments made by Mr. Foxx were totally out of line and completely ridiculous. There is such a racial double standard that goes on within our country and it is absolutely wrong and embarrassing. There are no apologies that are necessary from Mr. Foxx because in my opinion he showed his "true colors", he is a racist (and yes an African American can be a racist). In fact, I firmly believe that racism is kept alive because of this mentality. When did it become socially acceptable to belittle another race, simply because you’re speaking in front of your own race? When was it ok for racist comments to be made and the excuse to be given "I’m simply a comedian"? Why is there BET, the NAACP, Black history month, where is the equality? Why isn't there White history month, WET, NAAWP? In my opinion too many apologies have been given in terms of slavery and segregation. For reference; people should take the time to acknowledge that every race was at one time or another involved in slavery and injustice. It was not an isolated incident against the Black race. If any Caucasian person EVER made the type of comments that Mr. Foxx made, there would be another million man march and this time it would be in the form of another RIOT! I will personally do my part in not fattening the pockets of Mr. Foxx or any of the other people who share his opinions on life in our country.
