Jackson Family Doesn't Trust Michael's Doc

michael jackson conrad murryMichael Jackson's family has its suspicions about Dr. Conrad Murray and what went down on the day Jackson died.

A source close to the family tells TMZ they feel Dr. Murray should not be cleared of any wrongdoing just yet. The family requested a second autopsy to find out what the last drug Jackson took was. We're told the family feels once those results are known, a criminal investigation will take place.

We're also told the family is questioning Dr. Murray's abilities as a doctor. In the 911 call, first published by TMZ, the caller says Dr. Murray was performing CPR on Jackson on a bed; CPR is routinely performed on a hard surface.

As our source put it, "If you're a doctor, how can you not know how to do CPR?"

196. ita not about his family wanting to sue someone, come on now, that is wrong...do people in authority and professions as such even believe in their code of ethics? lets face it, the doctors had moral responsibilities and they failed a patient all for money...i guess it really is the root of all evil!!! but seriously, they have every right to sue for wrongful death, and the fact is, it is only hearsay that MJ asked/begged for the meds, he is not here to confirm nor deny so how can we just go by what people who want their 20 seconds of fame say?!

197. YOU KNOW, YOU NEED TO STOP THE DRAMA!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A CSI DRAMA AND NEITHER ARE YOU DEALING WITH A CRIMMINAL MIND. I know Dr. Conrad Murray personally. He is my mother's doctor, cardiologist. Had it not been for his thorough work, keen observation and skill, my mother would have been dead two years ago. This doctor found numerous mistakes in medications that she had been subxcribed by her former doctors, including medication for the prostrate. He explained that the last doctors had not recognized that she already had stints in her heart because there was not documentation of the finding. My mother had too much dye in her system following the last procedure by another treating doctor. When he studied her he found that some barbaric work had been done her arteries over 40 years ago? After her out patient procedure was done, He advised her that, " if someone tells you to run, don't do it". He spoke with my 85 year old mothe,r now and reassurred the family that, " she hasd a good heart, just bad arteries" and went on to explain why she had to have open heart surgery. The surgery was successful at the Methodist Hospital in Houston. One of the active surgerons said that she had, "the worst case of bad heart arteries that he had ever performed on in his life". Because Dr. Conrad Murray could not be in Houston, Texas at the time of this emergency open heart surgery. He reassurred us that he would call in a good friend of his off his vacation in the Bahamas to do the surgery on his behalf. So, we trusted Dr. Walks as Dr. Murray trusted his work. Dr. Walks was later called "Mr. Important" around the hospital for the successful surgery on my mother. Thank -you Dr. Murray for your experience, wisdom and knowledge as a cardiologist, like your father Dr. Rawl Andrews, deceased. Just as his father was known for his excellent bedside manners, I can bear witness that his son, Dr. Murray must be the image and likeness of him. He is a gentle giant, that radiates such a beautiful and charismatic spirit that you could only love him and trust him, just as Michael Jackson trusted his life with him.. If my own life hung in the balance between life and death and I had a choice of who I could trust to care for me, console me, humor me and comfort me, it would be Dr. Murray as well. Michael Jackson recognized another angel inside of this doctor that he could identify with. Just like Michael, Dr. Conrad puts his whole mind, heart and more into his work. While I waited for an our-patient procedure with my mother, the nurses and staff said over and over, "He is so thorough". Do you feel me now? Don't stress about whether MIchael was on the floor or the bed. Dr. Murray is over 6" 6 in height at least and I'm sure he held on to Michael with the firmness necessary to perform CPR. I'm sure he worked with Michael as if he was his own son . I can just see Dr. Murray entering the room to greet Michael with his great smile and beautiful accent, reaching out to touch his hand to discover Michael's frail and limp body. This had to be the shock of his professional life. This great cardiologist who travels globally with his own cardiact team to heal. One who proudly boast of having never lost a patient, I'm sure that he was ""pumping " with all his heart to keep Michael alive. Let Michael rest in peace. He waited until his chosen doctor arrived before he departed without yielding his good bye to Dr. Murray and entrusting Dr. Murray to do his best according to the will of the The Lord God, Jehovah. Let Doctor Murray grieve in peace for Michael. Were you there? Did you try to save his life? Would you even know how to do CPR on the floor?

200. The drug Diprivan has some major warnings as follows: If the injectable is more than 12 hours old, it breaks down and presents a microbial hazard that can cause death. Furthermore, I believe the doctor was not qualified to use this treatment because he did not have the necessary equipment as stated in this statement from "rxlist.com" speaking about Diprivan.

"Use of DIPRIVAN Injectable Emulsion has been associated with both fatal and life- threatening anaphylactic and anaphylactoid reactions.

For general anesthesia or monitored anesthesia care (MAC) sedation, DIPRIVAN Injectable Emulsion should be administered only by persons trained in the administration of general anesthesia and not involved in the conduct of the surgical/diagnostic procedure. Sedated patients should be continuously monitored, and facilities for maintenance of a patent airway, providing artificial ventilation, administering supplemental oxygen, and instituting cardiovascular resuscitation must be immediately available. Patients should be continuously monitored for early signs of hypotension, apnea, airway obstruction, and/or oxygen desaturation. These cardiorespiratory effects are more likely to occur following rapid bolus administration, especially in the elderly, debilitated, or ASA-PS III or IV patients."

204. Alright here goes. #1 anyone trained in CPR knows yes your are supposed to use a hard surface i.e. the floor. You can not compress the chest hard enough or effectively to jump start the heart if done incorrectly. You mean to tell me a doctor, not just any doctor a specialist (Cardiologist) who is supposed to be an expert in CPR doesn't know this. I mean even the EMT on the 911 call had to tell the darn doctor to put him on the floor. #2 frail or not you can not give any grown person CPR using one hand he's not an infant. If he realized he needed to support his back does it then sink in that "Oh I should be using the floor?" In addition Michael was not a baby you have to use two hands on a grown man. Hello!!! Then being a cardiologist even if he was doing something shady why didn't he have a difribulator there. If you have prescriptions drugs you shouldn't have would it have hurt to have a difribulator just in case. #3 He claimed he didn't call 911 because he didn't know the exact address. Are you serious we are talking about someone that is supposed to be educated. How the hell can you go somewhere and not know where you are/ the address. It was a highly populated celebrity area. For all that just say Michael Jackson's house trust me they would have known where he was shoot even the paparrazi knew. Also, anyone knows you can track a cell phone. They found a bank robber by tracking his cell phone location. A bunch of crap. #4 A whole half hour before he decided to seek additional help. Is he serious. I guess he was dead after a half hour. After cardiac arrest how long did he think he would survive without immediate care. And what was wrong with the man's mouth. Da@n I'm sure he can YELL for help. The family needs to consider filing a wrongful death suit because the doctor is far from innocent!

205. Truly sad story and the loss of a music and humanitarian legend. You can't fault his friends who tried to intervene with his drug addiction. However, those "yes" men and women who did what was wrong and aided, supplied, and colluded have death on their shoulders; a wake-up call for all friends, relatives, parents, having relationships with those addicted to prescribed or illicit drugs. Help begins in the home and community. And, for those addicted and in dire need of change, encourage them to seek professional help. Richard Fontenot. Legacy Life Solutions, Los Angeles.
