Jackson Family Doesn't Trust Michael's Doc

michael jackson conrad murryMichael Jackson's family has its suspicions about Dr. Conrad Murray and what went down on the day Jackson died.

A source close to the family tells TMZ they feel Dr. Murray should not be cleared of any wrongdoing just yet. The family requested a second autopsy to find out what the last drug Jackson took was. We're told the family feels once those results are known, a criminal investigation will take place.

We're also told the family is questioning Dr. Murray's abilities as a doctor. In the 911 call, first published by TMZ, the caller says Dr. Murray was performing CPR on Jackson on a bed; CPR is routinely performed on a hard surface.

As our source put it, "If you're a doctor, how can you not know how to do CPR?"

19. I really hope that Joe Jackson and his wife don't get custody of his children. I see dollar signs in Joes eyes, and he will exploit those grandkids just like he did his own kids..for the almighty dollar!

20. It seems that Michael's family has no freaking idea what he did or what he wanted or where anything is. No idea if he even had a will.

That tells us that he was not close to them at all and kept them a a distance.

For the grandparents to say that the kids should go to them is preposterous. If the mother wants her kids, she should get them.

21. Michael was probably already dead at the time of the 911 call. The paramedics said he was , but the doctor insisted he be taken to the hospital. The doctor rode in the ambulance with MJ to the hospital. Who was the guy who made the 911 call?

22. And what if Michael wanted to end it. What if he was sad of all that world.

23. has anyone thought of the possibility of an assisted suicide? MJ pushed family and close acquaintances away in his final months? 50 shows at 50 most likely seemed impossible to him. Maybe he didnt want to disappoint fans and living in pain is no joke. If it wasnt suicide than it was homicide. But the Doc was definitely involved. Something is fishy.

24. Plus he never could have preformed those 50 concerts as he knew he was washed up.

25. It sounds like the doctor knew he screwed up and was frantically trying to revive him (wanting to keep it hush-hush) and 911 was called when it obviously failed and he had no other choice. On top of that, it doesn't sound like he did CPR right. I don't trust him either...

26. I was a nurse in a cardiac critical care unit for 5 years. Believe me, a lot of physicians (including cardiologists) do not know how to perform CPR appropriately in a field setting. Think about it....every time they have to do it, the patient is in the hospital, on a cart. Hospital beds usually have special boards you can pull out of the headboard to place under the patient's back, and by the time the physician responds to the code, the nursing and respiratory therapy staff have already done that. It's very rare for a physician to actually perform CPR.
In addition to that, if you want to think about recommended breath to compression ratios and all that, I'm not even sure I could remember the way to do it with one responder...when I do CPR on a patient, they're usually already intubated...so we just do continuous compressions.
It's a very different world outside the hospital. We are appreciative for the first responders and EMTs who actually know what they're supposed to do in those kinds of settings.

28. any ethical doctor should have taken appropriate precautions when treating michael such
as making sure he has Narcan in case of OD, cardiac monitor if when. a strong and outdated
medication such as Demerol is given and above all advise availability of AED at home which could have saved
michael's life....i think it is basic that you do not perform cpr on the bed....we have to wait and see the facts when they are available...

29. How come nobody mentions personal responsibility??? He was a 50 year old man; he was the main one in control. This whole blame game pisses me off; we're not talking about a little kid who couldn't say no, this is a grown man and I feel he is the one responsible for his own addictions.

30. The doc is guilty. I don't understand why he didn't administer NARCAN or like the previous poster said, their was no defibrillator around. What kind of doctor are u and who hires a "cardiologist" as an at home doctor, my god, MJ really needed help. I also blame the family, they knew he was addicted and sat around doing nothing.
