AEG Promises Ticket Refund ... for Some

AEG has promised a full refund for tickets to Michael Jackson's 50 London concert dates -- if you bought your tickets through an "authorized dealer."

In a statement that was set to be released in a couple of hours -- that somehow leaked -- AEG promises "the refunds will be processed by each of the authorised ticket agencies (e.g. Ticketmaster, Viagogo, See or Ticketline)."

And the statement says fans "will have the option to be sent the actual tickets" for the show. Translation -- one hell of an expensive keepsake.

16. I am a white, 47 year old white female with two children 22 and 20 and live in Memphis where Elvis lived. I loved Michael Jackson along with my two children. I am very glad he touched our life. I hope that all this mess will hurry up and get corrected and the truth does need to be told. I disagree with the comment below to the TMZ blog assuming that "yall are responsible for putting Micheal in his grave", that is just terrible! I lived through all the mess here in Memphis regarding our beloved Elvis and was very glad it took the reporting of the media to help us with the truth. Thank you TMZ for all of your hard work. May MJ rest in peace and may his children be able to get on with a little bit of peace. Thank you.

18. A group of us have started The Man in the Mirror Project (www.maninthemirrorproject.org) which honors the life of Michael Jackson by encouraging fans to pledge donations to his favored causes in his memory. Specifically, The Man in the Mirror Project calls upon "This Is It" ticket-holders to pledge their forthcoming ticket refunds to the causes he supported. Michael Jackson's art and charitable spirit influenced generations worldwide and we believe this is a fitting way to honor the King of Pop.

19. I want to say, there is a lot of comments going around this person or that person. Watch that doctor who was there. Michael had a habit of telling people he wanted something and they would give it to him because he was Michael. So what if???? he asked that doctor for some meds so he could perform a little better. What do you think that doctor would say? He is Michael so if he wanted some extra anything to get ready for that 50 concert dates, he might have said yes despite the complications or dangers. I would not have done that but I am a doctor also. I happen to have been a licensed Psychology for orver 20 years. I quite because of the demand on my body and I also did not believ in the criminal system either. So I turned to the movie industry. I watch everything that goes on with these celebrities. There is a lot of drug abuse gong on and the doctors close their eyes for a few bucks. Check that doctor out. I am telling you please! he was right there. If you can't live and you have a doctor right there, what good is he. How long did it take to call for assistence? Get answers to thesequestions. Also do not under any circuumstance, give Koe jackson any conrtrol over any of Michaels money or estate. That mother and Joe are in cohoots. She will do anything Joes tells her to do. he has been a controlling son of a#####all Michaels child and teen life and some of the adult but now that Michael is dead, you are going to see some of everything for his throne. Read it, learn it, watch it. You will see. But look into that doctor. Had I been watching Michael, If I hd a question, and as soon as Michael even looked like he was afinting or getting weak, I would have been on the phone with the ambulance before he hit the floor, I do not care how good I thought I was, you always need backup for someone of this magnitude and what he had at stake. Follow up what I said and you will see.

21. I would like to no why the Doctor overturned what the paramedics said that he should be taken to the coroner’s office. Not to the hospital since he was dead and he was dead. How do I know he was dead? Some reason CNN had a picture they got from Entertainment tonight and I saw the photo. The Doctor had a mask over his face and IV dripping so we would think he was alive. However from what I saw I knew he was already dead. He had a pale dead look and I knew it them and I started crying my eyes out because they had not officially cam out to say he died. They guy on the phone even said no pulse and his heart was not beating. So the Doctor killed Michael Jackson and we will soon find out that he is a Murderer.

22. Please check oput that doctor that was with Michael. Nobody is talking about what he did or did not do. I wqas a licensed psychologist between 1992 and 2000. I worked in a prison system and if somethign was not right, you call for back up. Why wasn't somebody called before Michael expired? What were they doing? trying to see if they could fix the problem first. As soon as Michael even looked like he was going to hit the floor, The phone to emergency would have been ringing off the hopok for back up as I would be the lead. then they ask you what you did already and how did it repond. I am not a medical doctor but that doctor was and if you have a life entrusted to you, you better make damn sure you have back up in case of something like that so they may back up what you did or did not do. Secondly, do not give Joe or his mother another damn penny. they have gotten more money over the years than most people make in a lifetime all courtesy of Michael.Especially Joe. Don't let that looney toon guy who interviewed a few years ago, going to the mall or hwta have you interview anyone. he is a nut. When Michael was being interviewed, you do not keep begging the question on a sensitive subject. That guy kept asking Michael, how did you feel when Joe kept beating you, or how did you feel when you would get yelled at on a constant basis by your fatyher for missing a step. he doesn't want to be reminded of that. You can push the wrong buttons sometimes sparking something from within causing someone to blink out on you and you can get negative responses like death. I worked in a prison. Michael wouldn't hurt a person. he only wanted to be left alone. He was 1 year, 3 months older than I am now. he was my brother. I loved Michael no matter what they said about him. Now in death, the vulchers are still picking at his flesh with negativity. Leave Michael alone for once. he paid the ul;timate price...death. Talk about the good he did and what he stood for. Let him rest in peace with great feelings of the world. That is all he sang about. heal the world, make the world a better place.

Sincerely
J.C.

23. So you can get a refund. Or you can get a physical ticket. *BUT* if he hadn't OD'd you would have attended the actual concert + you would have had the ticket!!

You're worse off with that one now that he's dead!

24. I think the concert should go on ... we love the music.. and his style .. I think Janet Jackson should step in for Michael .. everyone already knows the routine. I also think they should release the filming of the rehersals as a documentary ... I would buy it. his music will always be great.. what do you think ... do just let him fade away .. his music and style were great.. come on Janet.. you can do it ...

26. the story should be, who was on more drugs? Michael or the moron executives at AEG who actually thought they could get Michael to do 50 shows. Give me a break only a fool would have believed that, even alive there was no way he's even going to get through the first night. Utter greed and stupidity on AEG Live's part. Michael is laughing

28. That's a good idea #25... How about you donate to the "charity" of "The Creditors that MJ Owes MILLIONS to"?

29. I don't think the tickets in leiu of a full refund is lame. I bought two tickets although they had not been dispatched and I still want them as a keepsake. They won't be "worth" anything to anyone but me, but it will be a reminder of the great night that never was. Peace, MJ
