30 Minute Delay in Calling 911 for Jackson

Dr. Conrad MurrayIt took Michael Jackson's doctor a half-hour to call 911 after finding MJ unconscious -- this according to the doc's lawyer, Edward Chernoff.

Chernoff explained this bizarre revelation by saying Dr. Conrad Murray didn't immediately make the call from his cell phone because he didn't know the exact address of Michael's mansion. For the record, the house is just above Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills -- one of the most famous streets in the country.

Chernoff said Murray eventually got someone in the house to make the call.

Murray has already taken heat for performing CPR on Jackson as he was lying on a bed. Chernoff's excuse ... it was a "firm bed."

31. Of course there was a delay, he had to " cleanup" the house. My bet is, he found michael dead in bed. Then cleaned up, called 911 and started phony cpr while the paramedics were on the way. That is why he didn't initially move him to the floor. He knew he was already dead. Sad, but most likely true.

32. I'm really trying to give Dr. Murray the benefit of the doubt. A few things come to mind. His attorney said that he did not give MJ Demerol or Oxicontin... but what about any other medications/narcotics?

Honestly, I believe this man was sadly came into MJ's life at a bad time. It appears MJ really had a problem for a long time.

As for the phone.. I swear I heard on CNN/MSNBC or Fixed News... that it was reported the doctor was on the phone and trying to give CPR, before security appeared and also that there was no land line in the house (points back to he was on the phone (cell?) while giving CPR)....

Something isn't right ... but there's a lot of that isn't right.

35. Look, I've done CPR on hundreds of people in my thirty years of hospital work. NO ONE who knows SQUAT would do CPR on a bed without a board underneath the person. No board available at home? You HAVE to put the person on the floor. PERIOD. This guy is a cardiologist? My a... This is crazy.

37. This doctors story stinks to high heaven.
One report today says that MJ was in a living room with one of his children when he was stricken.
By the doctors account he found MJ on the bed.
DIDN"T KNOW THE ADDRESS? There wasn't a land phone? what kind of excuses are these. There is something definitely wrong here.

43. this guy is a leach. He was in it for the money, to not be board certifed means, you are NOT knowledgable enough in the specialty to pass a certification. Murray was a wanna be! He was a typical materialistic guy who is more concerned about how he looks to others with all the BLING than paying his bills. Nasty SOB!

45. My guess is that he probably thought he could handle the situation and then 30 minutes later realized that the situation was too far out of his control. However, something is weird if you have a cardiologist that doesn't know how to perform CPR. Most if not all health care workers know not to perform CPR on a bed because you just end up moving the mattress up and down when you pump on the chest. You either move the person to the floor or the hospitals have a board that is placed behind the patient.
