Michael Jackson's Last Art Purchase

Michael Jackson bought some pretty expensive art two weeks before he died.

On June 11, Jackson purchased a picture of the Wicked Witch of the West, a painting called "The Donut Queen," and a painting called "Play Ball." The artist for all three works was Nelson De La Nuez. Jackson plunked down $13,000 for the three items, which were delivered to his home on June 15.

We're told Jackson was "obsessed" with the Wicked Witch painting.

Here's the weirdest part. Someone from AEG handled the money side of the transaction. We have the bank wire -- AEG dealt directly with the art seller.

46. #42 - Triana ...... Funny how you excuse Michael as an "imperfect human being" - but don't extend the same to his parents. A little INCONSISTENT wouldn't you say? And maybe you should put that great imagination of yours to good use in your own life somehow - instead of dreaming up all kinds of stuff about someone you didn't even know. Really - think about it.

48. For all of you ignorant people: BEING ACCUSED OF SOMETHING AND ACTUALLY DOING IT ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Stop acting like you don't care when you make an effort to write something about it. Regardless of what he was ACCUSED of, he still changed the world with his music...but I guess if your ignorant you wouldn't know that.

50. # 45 Selective: Yes, all of us are imperfect, but his parents are behaving more than imperfect, they seem to be having a good time. I don't need to read inside their mind, it's so obvious. When there's pain, specially after losing a loved one, it definitely shows. About the paintings, most people here were mocking at them, so I just wanted to share another perspective. People just criticize, judge and make fun of others without pausing to THINK. And in regards to my imagination, I do put it to good use: I paint, and I write theater scripts in 3 languages. I admit English is not one of them, it's not my native language, and it's not the one I master. I do think about using my imagination everyday. You don't have to tell me to do it.

56. AEG must be charged for murder. the whole sorry event was masterminded by them.
First they signed up for 10 shows with Michael but made the fans pay for 40. Hired a killer doctor, bought michel those paintings to soften him up, delivered the lethal drugs and now.... are laughing all the way to the bank. May you all responsible for Michael death, rot in hell. Your time is coming very soon too.
