It's about time we got some good news and yeah it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!!!! And they should put his wife away too and throw away the key. Poor thing has to ride the subway now instead of being chauffeured around. Now she can see how most of the real people live. Feel sorry for everyone who lost their money with him, what a creep!!!!! Have fun in jail Bernie, I'm sure some others will with you!!!!

The shmuck's already too old for a prison sentence to matter. He should be tortured and executed by his ponzi victims on live TV. A lot of lost life savings suicides resulted from this devil's deeds. If he doesn't deserves cruel and unusual punishment, then who does?

At least in the States you guys have an actual justice system. Here in good ole' Canada, we just had a two horrible cases of a father who was so drunk, he forgot he took his 2 little girls out in -40 degrees C (yah, not F) in just t-shirts and they frooze to death. He got 5 years in prison. Whoo-hoo! Another woman gave birth in a Walmart toilet and left the baby to die and she got acquitted of child abandonment. Plus, she still gets to see the litte guy! I wish our legal system dished out sentences like this, then maybe people would think twice before being stupid here. We are too liberal.

FINALLY! 150 years I hope is enough for this jacka**....Too bad all those people will not get what was there's back.....I hope they can get some glimmer of delight as he sits in jail...granted...he will be in a country club prison no doubt....but still....Can't wait until he DROPS THE SOAP! Giggle

Really? Ya'll don't think in the next few weeks he'll suffer the same "fate" as Ken Lay? My guess is that the 2 will be joining eachother out of the country very soon. Just my opinion, of coarse.
