When you're the Jackson's you think into the future... to a day when even all of you moronic posters are dead and yes... each and everyone of you will be dead... just like MJ.... and in that time... on some newscast somewhere... some dull talking head will remind the living audience... not you because you will be dead, that MJ had the longest procession line of any dead guy... ever... heads of state... and more importantly ELVIS... the Jackson's want to use MJ to Beat ELVIS...

HMV today claimed that sales of Michael Jackson's music have outstripped the demand for material by Elvis Presley and John Lennon following their untimely deaths.
Simon Fox, the chief executive of HMV, said that sales of Michael Jackson albums have multiplied by 80 times, totalling 40,000 units, since the singer's death last Thursday. He estimates that across the UK, 125,000 albums by Jackson have been sold since last week.
The music retailer, which had stocked up on albums by the King of Pop in anticipation of his 50 farewell performances at the O2, sold out of CDs on Saturday and is currently re-stocking from Sony.
During his lifetime, Jackson sold over 750 million records and Mr Fox today claimed that the recent surge in demand for CDs surpassed that following Presley's death in 1977 and Lennon's assassination in 1980.

74. I have been to Neverland, back when MJ lived there and it was operational. It was beautiful. But now, most of that stuff is gone, and he wasn't living at nor did he own the property at the time of his death. Most of the items were sold or transported to other locations. I understand why the family did this, if they are indeed having a public ceremony which must be the case given this choice, Neverland is nearly 4,000 acres and could accomodate hundreds of thousands of people. For practical reasons, it makes sense. However, I think even MJ didn't want Neverland in the end. Not only because of financial reasons but after the trial, the place didn't hold the same feeling for him. In a way, it's sad that it's at Neverland, but I understand the implications sentimentally of the family also wanting to hold it there. It is the place where no one grows old, and sadly with Michael, that was certainly true in the end. RIP, MJ.

75. So Neverland is going to be the black graceland huh? I'm guessing it will be no where near the financial success of the original, too many people involved are just out to stuff their own pockets, with so many pigs at the trough its bound to be a disaster no matter how much cash is raked in. I personally think its sad that his family couldn't even wait a few weeks before coming up with ways to make money off his death. If he had not be so used and abused by those closest to him from early childhood perhaps he would have had some chance of being halfway normal.
