Jackson Never Adopted Kids

Michael JacksonWe've learned Michael Jackson never adopted his three children, even though he's not the biological father.

We broke the story that neither Jackson nor Debbie Rowe are the biological parents of Michael Jr. and Paris. And Michael was not the biological parent of Prince Michael II either.

Now here's the rub. We've learned Jackson never filed legal papers to adopt any of his children. Legal experts tell us Jackson would be presumed the father but it's not conclusive by any means.

As for why Jackson didn't formally adopt -- we're told at the time the kids were born there was no third party whom he believed would try and claim custody. For some reason, Jackson never thought Debbie Rowe would mount a custody challenge.

18. More proof that all of the lawyers, doctors and other entourage he paid were just vultures.

The more I see recent pics of his kids, the more I'm not surprised he let himself die. i don't think there is anyway he could have handled the thought of his kids not being children anymore, or wanting to date, etc.

EVERYONE is gonnna try get their hands on them..

the nanny, their real parents, michaels mother, and the government would probly even try put themin foster care.

23. HE SIGNED THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND HE WAS MARRIED TO MOTHER WHEN THEY BORN...THIS IS ALL THAT IS REQUIRED. THEY ARE CONSIDERED HIS CHILDREN UNDER THE LAW. WHEN PEOPLE HAVE KIDS USING OTHER PEOPLE'S SPERM AND EGGS THEY DON'T HAVE TO ADOPT THEM. AS LONG AT THE SURROGACY CONTRACT IS WORKED OUT THERE ARE NO ISSUES.

24. Doesn't matter in CA... if you assume financial and custodial responsibility without protesting it, you are legally responsible until they are 18. And before the know-it-alls who know nothing flame me, check out the National Center for Youth Law.

27. they are a designer family built in a lab SO WHAT?.I was built so the story goes for DAD howard Robard hughes JR for parts as he needed a kidney so they use to tell me.I would have given him my kidney but it was beatin in than than I was shot in my kidney.He used part of it but it failed later on.SLE killed MJ and joes beat him into having that so JOE whom he was forever try N to please killed him.Meds helped but could`nt save him 1986 is when he found that he had lupus

30. If he went through IVF, he doesn't have to adopt the kids, even if they are using donor sperm and eggs. The "husband and wife" (which they were at the time) are legally the parents. Donors have no claims to children conceived from their sperm or eggs. Generally, surrogates don't either (unless the surrogate provided her eggs). However, since Rowe was the wife during the proess, she still could be considered the "mother" of the two children.
