(rip Michael) This is so sad, BUT, Michael's mother should NOT get custody, after all, she allowed her husband (Michaels dad) to abuse him. & for That Debbie? if ahe just had kids for him and didnt come around? she shouldn't be allowed to have them either.. LISA MARIE SHOULD GET CUSTODY, she was his wife, and she IS the best person (of all invilved) to take good care of Michaels children.. 63. #9 Betty Bowers DEAR: Please get educated so you know what the hell you are talking about. Those kids ARE MJs regardless if he is the biological father or not. Surrogate births happen ALL the time and the parents DO NOT NEED TO ADOPT THE KIDS. You call that "purchasing" kids? I call it someone who does whatever it takes to have kids because he really wants them and really loves them.

His name and Debbie Rowes name are on the kids birth certificates (first two). You can't be so stupid as to not realize what that means. Or can you? The names on the birth certificates ARE THE LEGAL PARENTS OF THE CHILDREN. People have a period of about ONE YEAR to contest their name on the birth certificate. If, after that period, their name remains on the birth certificate - THEY ARE THE LEGAL PARENTS OF THAT CHILD. REGARDLESS IF THEY CONTRIBUTED DNA TO THE CHILD OR NOT. That is the law - DEAR. Familiarize yourself with it because when you post in such a condescending manner, you only sound obscenely stupid. DEAR.

65. The only thing Michael has done is shown the world that if you have enough money you can buy sperm, buy eggs, buy a doctor then buy a womb and your order will be filled and baby shipped 9 months later.

As easy as buying a car, anyone can now place a order for a child and have it shipped after a 9 month processing delay. You can't even buy a gun that easily. Michael has shown the world that getting your own black market baby is possible.

I feel real bad for these kids and kids that will be born this way in the future. They are brought in this world for profit.

66. #65 you are an idiot. These children were so wanted that MJ did all he could to have them and for them. Everyone says his kids adored him. Much better than kids who are born "by accident" to parents who don't really want them. Please feel sorry for your own kids for having someone as hateful and closed-minded as you for a parent.

67. It seems as if the media is wanting for there to be a battle over Michael Jackson's children. Obviously, if Debbie Rowe had wanted the children, she would've been stepped forward and sought custody the samr day that he passed but she didn't. Which basically means that she doesn't want any parts of them. The media however is pushing the issue so that she or someone else can go up against the Jackson family and stake claim on the kids. Otherwise if no one comes forward, than this whole case will soon teeter off and there won't be a hot scoop (story).

68. Michael Jackson would HAVE to have recessive genes for blond/red hair and blue/hazel/gray eyes somewhere in his background to be the biological father of his two oldest kids.

69. Personally I wouldn't care if a judge didn't award those kids anything since they were NOT legally adopted or biologically linked to MJ. Good...let the JACKSONS (minus JOE) & The many CHARITIES MJ was involved with inherit the money ALONE. A lawyer did state that since DEBBIE ROWE & MICHAEL JACKSON was married during the time the children was born, those kids are their kids legally (there is a law that states that) even if the kids arent either of theirs BIOLOGICALLY.

So this thing can get really ugly before it is all over. But I hope the children get to stay with their Grandmother Katherine as MJ suggests in his will.

72. Michael loved his Mother very much, this is obvious, however, she is in her late 70's and should she pass away suddenly, the children will be devastated all over again. Where are the siblings? Why haven't any of them filed a petition? If the family was playing it wise, they would play nice with Debbie Rowe. She is listed as the biological Mother, and remember , I'm saying "only biological" but the law in California is the law and despite their marriage, divorce, and supposed relingquishment of child custody, she holds all the cards for the two older children. Neither of them are sperm and egg doners, but they were married in name. If the Jackson family holds any cards, it's only his wishes and children, the law, and will of what one whats to happen are very different things. You can't give children to anyone like property despite what you want.

73. $70: That's a completely different case! As I wrote in my post, the person has a period of about ONE YEAR (I think that's the time but it could be a bit more or less) to CONTEST the name. And that's exactly what Larry Birkhead did. He contested it from day one! After about one year whosever name is on the birth certificate is the LEGAL PARENT (as long as it's not contested, and proven otherwise, etc). Look it up. I'm not making this up. That's the law.

75. What's really sad is that no one is really thinking about the kids? It's all about the money. The kids need to live a life free of all this...if it's possible. Their Dad is dead, gone. And, let the court work out who gets what? Does anyone really want these kids unconditionally without his money, nope. If he was just an average Joe, pun not intended, where would these kids be? One would have to conclude with his family, but is it the best thing for them? Mom Katherine is almost 80, where is the Jackson family to step up and petition? I hate to say it, but they don't hold the cards just because a will says: I give custody to Katherine J., Biological Mom regardless of egg/sperm is Debbie Rowe, and they should be getting the best legal advice to play nice.
