49. I won't let those 100 % white kids inherit MJ's money. Katherine shouldn't take the kids; they are white and need to be raised in a white family. So Debbie and this doc should take them, but they shouldn't get MJ's money either. MJ 's money should go to black American kids across America, his real kids. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton won't let those kids get his money.

51. to all that think Michael had virtiligo, a "skin disease", please!! Does Latoya have it too? Look at pictures of her when she was young. She was not light skinned but now she is as white as Michael. No way they both had the disease. You are in denial.

* I have never had sores nor seen them on other vitiligo patients but it is said he also had some form of lupus that could cause the sores. Kaposis Sarcoma is very distinct and if you saw those there are only a few diseases that they will manifest in and AIDS is one. Vitiligo patients are suffering from depigmenting skin so they are in a high risk category for skin cancer. Sunscreen is not a treatment but a fact of life, it will not stop vitiligo spread, only protect the depigmented skin from sun damage.
What Are the Symptoms of Vitiligo?
* the pigment is gone from the skin cells, some will have white blotches in specific areas and it spreads slowly, others will have a rapid progression leaving few areas with any pigment. It is thought to travel with some autoimmune diseases and when you are checked for the vitiligo the standard thyroid/diabetes/addisons are checked too.
The primary solution years ago was to obtain a chemical cream or oral medications to accelerate and completely remove pigment from your skin, it was/is very expensive and the chemicals are not without side effects.
Currently the research has expanded quite a bit and there are some treatments that try to restore pigment but full success has yet to be done. All of the treatments are very expensive and this is an orphan disease with little funding since it is considered a cosmetic problem but the increased risk of skin cancer is real and the psychological challenge of others reaction to you is real.
Cosmetics is not a treatment, it covers the spots up until they get too large to do so effectively-look at Lee Thomas, he spent hours trying to cover it all up. His interview says quite a bit about what vitiligo patients go thru

Doctors should be routinely drug tested. Especially surgeons.

Doctors should undergo regular medical and psych evaluations.

The public trusts their lives in the hands of doctors/surgeons, yet doesn't know what drugs their doctor's on, or what medical or psychological problems their doctors have. No one is watching or testing the doctors. No one knows if they're on drugs, or if they're medically fit to perform surgery or make medical judgments.

Their nurses might know but aren't going to say anything because they want to keep their job. Nurses have a legal responsibility to speak up, but they don't.

You can't always tell if someone is high, or mentally imbalanced, just by looking at them. So a doctor that "seems" fine is not necessarily so. Wiating until people get hurt or killed, or relying on lawsuits, is not the answer,

59. If this is the doc that has done all of michaels face surgeries then he should be thrown in jail for that alone. No doctor should allow their patients to do that much work without a psych evaluation first. If you want to undergo sex reassignment surgery you have to go through this. Why not if you want to change your face, skin color etc to look like a white women?

I love michael and I know he had a messed up life but someone should have stepped in to figure all of his pain out before just giving him one procedure after another.

I really feel like almost everyone involved, family, doctors, associates, etc were all in it for the money. I don't really think he had anyone he could count on or confide in.
