Michael Jackson Funeral

Michael Jackson's funeralEveryone's speculating on Michael Jackson's funeral. We know three things for sure.

-- it won't be until next week
-- it will not be at Neverland
-- it will be in the L.A. area, and the Staples Center is an option but it hasn't been decided.

Beyond that -- the family still hasn't made its decision.

46. I completely understand that this is worldwide event and I know that the family must be having issues on making definitive plans as to his finally resting place. The question remains when are they planning on laying Michael to rest? After one week, (please forgive me for being morbid as some may see it) the body, regardless of how it is being preserved is going to start some serious decompostion. If a decision isn't made soon they will have no choice but to have a closed casket ceremony. Just a thought...

47. The Staples Center is not going to happen. They will want their money up front and the Jacksons are broke.

52. OK, I will say it. He isn't dead!!! When he was taken from the morgue to the undisclosed place, with all the camera people there NO ONE saw the body leave or followed the van to this "undisclosed" place. Now there will be no public viewing? Next the spelling on the headstone will be spelled wrong just like Elvis.

53. the problem facing family,i think is the Michael Jackson 's beleiving,we heard that he embraced Islam in december 08.in islam there is no exposer ,no veiwers.the dead is buried in a new white linen only even if he is Pop king or king of country or what ever.tall are same in death, the ceremony came after.
there is no consensus yet i think.bcoz each one in his family has different religion.Christian,Geovah, moslim,,,,,etc

55. Michael, as a global superstar, should command a dignified and grand celebration of his life, his talent and his genius. I hope his funeral is beautiful, amazing and spectacular as his soul, although flawed as all humans are, was. I hope that all over the globe people can remember that beyond his music, he wanted for us to open our eyes to each other's pains and struggles and to love each other. His music is more beautiful than ever and his passing has left many in pain.Goodnight King Michael, may your voice be with the angels forever and may you rest in peace free from the pain of this world.

56. A funeral at the Staples Center? That venue has a capacity of approximately 20,000 people. Talk about epic.

57. The music lives forever and that’s why I say Sony, iTunes, Amazon, et al – should provide that a percentage of their gross MJ profits should go to feed/help children (UNICEF?) because the fans are buying – in the case of Record companies/Distributors make it permanent like J.M. Barrie did in 1929 when he specified copyright of the Peter Pan works should go to the UK’s leading children’s hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital. And no matter what anyone’s feelings for Michael, his legacy would still be helping children. In fact it becomes everyone’s legacy. It’s about the good this can do for a long time, just like Peter Pan does. So whenever the children need – we’ll be there. It’s as simple as ABC :) Make it happen so we can “make that change”.

59. Good God, is the judge from Anna Nicole's "who should the body be released to" trial in charge of this fiasco?
And if there's not going to be anything pertaining to MJ's services at Neverland, then what's going down over there?
