Sources tell TMZ an extremely dangerous and potent drug used for surgical anesthesia was found at Michael Jackson's house after he died ... and this may well be the drug that killed him.
We're told the drug Propofol was discovered at the residence. The drug is used to put people under anesthesia before surgery. It is an extremely powerful drug that is only available to medical personnel. As one source said, "There is no conceivable way this drug can be properly prescribed for home use."
The drug can only be administered with an IV. Interestingly, Propofol burns and the drug Lidocaine is used to reduce the pain associated with the Propofol injection. As we first reported, Lidocaine was found near Jackson's body.
One of the major side-effects of Propofol is cardiac arrest if it's taken in combination with narcotic painkillers, however, Propofol is so powerful it can stop someone's heart on its own.
A registered nurse has come out and said Jackson begged her for the drug Diprivan -- the brand name for Propofol. She says he needed it for insomnia but she declined to supply it.
Sources say the drug is so inappropriate and reckless for home use, if a doctor facilitated it for Jackson and it caused his death, he or she could be prosecuted for manslaughter.

537. A little off-topic, but can anyone CONFIRM he changed religion to Islamic? So far I've found the same snippet on a few independent website but there's nothing on TMZ about him changing his name to Mikaeel and changing his faith. I would think his brother and his friends would've had a say in his burial plans if he did to respect his religious beliefs.

I can't help but speculate that the Dr. "living with" MJ got this anesthesia drug and administered it to him which is why he was checking on him all night long. WHOEVER prescribed this anesthesia drug for improper use should be prosecuted IMO.

When I heard about Michael's death, I knew righht away it was murder, I just felt it. Now that this drug was found in the home, and the corresponding lidocaine, I am sure of it. I have this suggestion for the LAPD and California State Police Lab..........contact the original patent holder for this drug, the pharmaceutical copmpnay the manufactures it, and have them run the assay's, consistant with FDA protocoals and training. They are the experts on the drug, the assays, and the degradation products. I don't want a murderer walking away because the police lab bothched the assay in some way. CALL IN THE PHARAMCEUTICAL COMPANY!!!!

Now I think RN Lee is responsible for the deadly drug being at Michael's house. At first, listening to her, I didn't think so. But she said she was recently called, knowing that phone records would show this. She said she never connected with Michael in this recent call. Maybe she did get the stuff for him--$$$ speaks, and RN's don't make that much money.
Jacko was a dumb junkie. He knew doing drugs disrputs your sleep pattern, but he didn't want to stop the drugs to get back a normal sleep pattern. He just wanted whatever would like him out, like fellow junkies, Anna Nicole and Heath Ledger.

It's used in nearly every elective surgery and is very safe, but has very strict dosing limits, and it's very easy to euthanize a patient instead of anesthetize them if the wrong dose is administered, OR, they are a chronic user of the medication. THERE IS NO WAY MICHAEL JACKSON COULD TAKE IT ALL ALONE...SOMEONE IS IN TROUBLE NOW... it is clear the doc killed MJ, intentionally or not, he tried to ressucitate Michael for 30 minutes because he didn't want anyone to know he neglected his patient, after he saw his patient was dead he called 911.. then he just ran away to find a good lawyer. THIS IS IT.
I believe that the message Michael Jackson left for us in in the beginning song on his Moonwalker movie, Man in the Mirror. He will be remembered for the good he tried to do. Let's not focus on the negative since the good he did was so overwhelming and a contribute to the new 2012 spiritalization of the planet.
