47. I was wondering why they would take him back to Neverland. However, if you think, it's probably the one place that they could have him that would give some form of privacy on a regular basis. It's probably hard determining a place where he wont' be distrurbed. They will have to have some form of security around his resting place. Perhaps Neverland offers that and creates a since of stability for the children.

48. Well now we know how he (Michael) felt about his father by leaving him out of the will. Joe Jackson is an embarrassment to his entire family. plugging his so called record company at a time like this. UNBELIEVABLE!! No wonder MJ was so screwed up. Such a sad and tragic story this all is and I fear this is only the beginning.

As far as Joe & Katharine, haven't they been legally separated for 11 yrs or something??? So why do people assume that if Katharine has the kids, Joe will get hold of them?

33---How much did he owe Sony? They are raking in the bucks on his albums now, go look at billboard. Neverland Ranch --how much do you think they can sell it for now? He was going to do the concert to pay off the creditors and in death he has made them all a huge chunk of money. Worth more dead than alive but if he had completed those concerts he probably would have made a few things right with some creditors.

53. A Trust is a separate (and private) document which does not have to be filed with the state in California. The only time that ever may come into play in a courtroom is if there are charges of misappropriation by the executors. The document that must be filed with the courts is the Will. 5 pages is not uncommon, since there maybe things the person wants to declare in a document that certain persons who may not ever be priviledged to see the Trust documents.

What I'm curious about is why the family was allowed to take items from the home (and likely Neverland too, since it was reported a moving van the size of the ones at his rented mansion arrived earlier this week ... but I've not seen any reports of it leaving.. any update on that TMZ?) What items were taken? Where are they?

Joe Jackson should return to Vegas and remain silent. WE his fans are not interested in his new record company with Marshall, nor him having an assistant who was made to look like his 'superstar' son.

Also, the fight from the attorneys to preserve his legacy in conversations to reporters, such as Londell did last night with Anderson Cooper, is highly stupid. I'm glad Anderson barked back. Yes, we all will remember and love Michael for his contributions to the world, to music, to fashion, and as Alicia Keyes said "he is the soundtrack to our memories" but telling the press to not report or investigate to preserve his legacy... oh come on! Seriously. Isn't that a violation of the 1st Amendment? You can't control the world like Michael did.. or like Joe is trying (once again) to do.

Now with that said, I do believe that some of the reports that are coming out are trashy and that the reputable media should take great care in substantiating sources to ensure accurate reporting, Yes Michael had a sad life. Yes we are interested in knowing all the details. Yes this will become very public over time. Yes there will be false reports (such as "Billie Jean Jackson's claim to be Michael Joseph II's mother.. eyeroll). Yes, media is trying to join in getting exclusives.

But in the final hour, yes, we want the truth - not the tabloid truth. The real truth.

54. If anyone tries to go against the trust as it's specified in the will/trust papers, a person can be prosecuted heavily.

56. Even though Joe and Katherine are separated, they are still married. I would think since California is a community property state, Joe would get his hands on half of the money, especially if they divorce. I bet he is working right now on a reconciliation with Katherine to get money. And she probably would not stop him since she never stopped him from beating her kids.

57. By saying he had his affairs in order I was referring to his estate not the way he managed his affairs while he was alive - that is partly why I was impressed that he'd set up the family trust. To the poster who asked about whether we would see the trust declaration, unless it is leaked or someone contests the will so it must be produced in court, there is no obligation to file the trust declaration with the courts (at least that's how it's done in Canada and I expect the laws of California are similar). As to his creditors, ironically, now that MJ is dead and not spending as he has been, there may be enough income flowing from royalties (and revenue from the sale of the Beatles songbook) to cover those debts.
