AEG and reps for the Jackson family just announced a memorial service for Michael Jackson will take place at the Staples Center on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
11,000 tickets will be distributed free of charge to the general public -- a press conference will be held tomorrow morning to address the situation further.

24. There's a UK website that says Staples Center reps are working on getting TV screens put on the outside for the fans to watch out there. They haven't said anything for sure though.

27. I am wondering about that 11,000 tickets Free of Charge. Does that mean no other people will be allowed in? Or does that mean Joe (hmmm) is going to charge admission? Or does that mean that half of Hollywood and other Celebrities will be allowed in and few fans will be, if any at all? If that is the case then it will not be a public fan friendly memorial. Will there be big screens set up where at least the fans can see and hear what is happening? Or does that mean that the capacity of the building will only hold that many individuals? OMG! the questions. I think I will stay home and just watch the coverage on television and avoid the sure to be chaos. In this sort of situation no one will be completely satified. I just hope and pray that Michael Jackson can be laid to rest in peace and that fans remember that we are outsiders looking in. So any part that the family does share should be a blessing, They could have decided to keep it explicitly private. So sad that it has taken so long for the family to come together and make a sound decision on behalf of Michael. My GOD I feel for his children. I could not imagine my children living in this world without their mother, the pain must be deep. Again my thoughts and prayers are with them forever.
