So finally we have something firm on Michael Jackson.
On Tuesday morning a motorcade will go from Forest Lawn Mortuary in L.A. to the Staples Center complex in downtown Los Angeles where the public memorial will be held.
We're told the family still hasn't decided whether the memorial will be at the Staples Center or the smaller Nokia Theatre. A decision on that is expected shortly.

49. I wonder if the news update about MJ will continue after the funeral is over. Or will the media do as they always, and let the story just dwindle into nothingness, day after day till we all forget the days we were waiting at the computer on TMZ, refreshing and waiting for some kind of updates about MJ. So sad, that it's only when a person dies, we are so hyped on them, and don't probably think twice about them, when they are alive =(

Staples Center insiders have confirmed Cher and her bevy of boy back up dancers will be performing a special tribute at the public memorial (MJ's body will not be there) The dancers began arriving this morning and are waiting for Cher to arrive. Debbi Allen is here doing something with another troupe of dancers (sorta lion king looking) 10 million ballons are on order to be dropped on the crowd at the end of the rumored 4 hour memorial. Justin Timberlake and Brittney are doing a duet for Michael a remake of 1972's oscar winning song "The Morning After" Lets just home the staples center does not turn upside down at midnight. 58. It seems that by posting the funeral plans on the TMZ site, that the 'private' part of the funeral won't (or rather) isn't really private. At 10:00 a.m., there will be hoards of press, media, gossip magazines, paparazzi, etc. surrounding Forest Lawn. Way to go to whomever decided to publicize this portion of the itinerary.
