I think at the time when MJ was growing up and becoming a star he wanted to be accepted with everyone the way the caucasian artists were and with the negative reassurance he received from his father he truly believed he was an unnatractive person although we clearly see he was very good looking back then. But his inferiority complex was so powerful that all the people screaming for him didn't help him realize he was fine just the way he was. I think MJ was scared his children, if they were black, would suffer the same criticism he received from his father from other people and he was probably afraid they'd be victims of racisom like many of us have experienced in our lifetime. I'm sure MJ now realized how great he looked, how beautiful the black race is, and how black artists have taken over entertainment. I know he probably regretted the alterations he made to himself but at the same time he remembered what his father would say to him and thought maybe I'm better off with light skin and straight hair after all. In the end he was very confused with who he was off the stage and you really wonder if only his parents would have been positive role models for him because after all MJ put the Jackson name on the map.

18. It's true, Michael didn't like his race, he says it in his song "morphine". Its all because of his father and how he teased him about his looks as a child. He just wanted to be loved and accepted by his father. And that's when he began getting plastic surgery and nose jobs. And he began taking prescription drugs for the pain from all of the surgeries and nose jobs and he just happened to get addicted and began using the drugs for his inner pain as well as his surgical pain. So sad because I thought he was a nice man before all the plastic surgery, but his father is the one whom he wanted acceptance from and could not get it.

People get over it this story is soo true on so many lvl wow ... he changed his skin colour because if he had a disease he would; ve been spotss all over him. he had he nose done how many times, he marry white women and had white kids that he mit not even father so he choose white baby...... I dont believe that at all, MJ once made a very true comment in one of his songs, "it dont matter if your black or white" MJ had issues with the way he looked because of his up bringing, also who cares what he looked like on the outside when he was such a spectacular , brilliant, caring and beautiful person on the inside I will ALWAYS love you and honour your legacy MJ xxxx

22. Yes, he wanted to be WHITE. He only married white women and his children (not his sperm) are 100% white! He was a very, very sich person in so many ways. He liked his little boys and his little chimp, which he had sex with all of them.

23. The only person close to Michael that I would believe, besides Katherine and Janet, is Elizabeth Taylor. She loved Michael and knows the real Michael Jackson outside of the recording studio. She only has good things to say and would never spread lies. I think people need to start talking to her about MJ!

I think Mike did have some issues with his appearance...I admit that, but if the man was his friend he wouldn't talk about him like that. Did you hear how he talked about Ry Charles too? LOW DOWN! I think MJ really had Vitiligo...now as far as the surgery...he went too far! He may have had some problems with being black..I think that most celebrities do...and they have money to change the features that they find to be socially unappealing. As far as Jones talking about Michael's kids..LOL..he has a daughter that looks Whiter than Paris.....He had NOTHING to do EVER with a Black Woman...He hasn't been near a black vagina since his mother gave birth! 27. I like and respect Quincy Jones, but I'm not crazy about this interview. Not the black/white thing, but the animal thing. I'm an animal lover and there's a reason why so many people love animals. They are about the only place on this earth where you get unconditional love (well, except maybe if you have a cool mother). I like most animals and some people, so I can understand Michael feeling like he could trust animals. Some people are bestowed with the ability to relate to animals better than others and that shouldn't be disparaged.

28. I believe Michaels problem with being black is a reflection upon his dad and the way Joe Jackson taunted Michael about his looks. Which in reality, Michael was a cute kid. Joe Jackson is the one who looks like hell and even looks like an abuser to me.

Michael had vitaligo there are photos that so this is true … Like the famous photo of the spider bit on his leg … His leg is a marbled and splotchy in color.
