Failed vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin sure likes to finish what she starts ... she just announced she's stepping down as Governor of Alaska later this month.
Palin also said she won't seek a second term in 2010 -- Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell is set to take her place.
It's not clear exactly why she's turning her back on the citizens of Alaska, but people suspect she has her sights set on the White House in 2012.

767. How can anyone look up to this woman anymore, she is QUITTING her job as governor of Alaska mid-term. Apparently writing a book and making money is more important to her than governing her fellow alaskans. Of course, this will also give her more time to shoot defenseless animals.

768. With Palin now willing to campaign for Democratic candidates, perhaps all those high favorable ratings in the Republican party will cause the Republican and Democratic parties to merge. Perhaps she is a Trojan Horse being sent to the Democratic Party to reek havoc on the party she thought was vile 8 months ago. Sarah Palin campaigning for Democrats is another Arlan Specter in knee-high boots and short skirts.
