31. Although as others have noted, it's true - MJ made his own decisions, he chose to do the things he did. No one held a gun to his head BUT.... ALL these enablers deserve to go down. I just continue not to see WHY no one sees his family as guilty too? If they loved him so much and were so close to him, how come they saw/heard NOTHING? Maybe it was just cos that's what was convenient. After all, he paid his Mum & Dad's bills. Apparently Janet is the ONLY ONE who never asked him for $$$$$.

32. I hope that they crack down, but realistically I don't think it is going to happen. If you look at the many scams that are going on--in Quebec for instance, they found that doctors' offices were being paid for by the pharmacists on the first floor--there is a huge problem of doctors and pharmacies in collusion. And then go to the meta-scale of this corruption and there is a huge collusion between the state, the American Medical Association and the pharmaceuticl industry. As we can see that NObama is doing little to improve our healthcare system here, much of these same problems that led to Michael Jackson's death are the reasons as to why we will not have single payer (socialized) healthcare that our country so direly needs.

39. The doctor or doctors shall be punished, when you are becoming a doctor you also take on a certain resposibility that in this case is nowhere to be found. The drug is unable for Michael to get from a pharmacy on his own and also to inject, case closed. Top procecuters sounds hopeful, now go and get them!

41. I hope they will get the doctors who prescribed these medications to Michael but my feeling is that we will never know the real truth about how he died. I am guessing that the Jackson family would want to maintain Michael's legacy on a good note. If they tell us the truth about how he really died I will be surprised. I feel so sorry for Michael. He had massive talent and was a genius. RIP Michael!

The point of fedup's post was to point out the irony of the fact that rich people can and do obtain drugs from corrupt doctors for the purpose of abusing them, while hard-working, low-paid people can't afford insurance to help cover costs when need legitimate medical care. That is what's happening in this country. Plenty of people get off their ass every day and work 2 or 3 jobs to pay the bills, but still can't afford insurance. Why do you think we have been talking about health care reform for so long? It's more complex than getting off your ass.

Law enforcement sources have told ABC News they discovered the powerful sedative propofol in the home where pop icon Michael Jackson's suffered a fatal cardiac arrest last month.
Cherilyn Lee says Michael Jackson asked her for a powerful sleep aid.

The drug was just one of many among the pharmacopeia found in his Holmby Hills home. Officials have previously said that they believe the star was addicted to a daily dose of the pain medications OxyContin and Demerol and that Jackson was injected with Demerol shortly before his death June 25.

The medications found in his home included ones prescribed by multiple doctors to multiple patient names, some believed to be aliases, the sources told ABC News. The use of an alias may not be a crime, federal authorities said at this early stage of the investigation.

The finding appears to confirm reports by those close to Jackson, 50, that the singer had been abusing prescription drugs.
