46. Being addicted to anethesia doesnt even make sense.... this is something you get no pleasure in, because its a self-induced coma. You dont feel rested when you wake up, in fact- you feel sleepy. The body cannot rest/repair itself in this state. M.J. would get zero pleasrue from this, at least the I.V. kind. Demerol, probably zoned him out and made him forget about his problems, and sleep- so I could see getting addicted to this. Poor M.J. was a mental-mess, having multiple surgeries, because he hated what he saw. Living such an isolated life, although he came from a huge family. Sad, no mention of his sibs in his will, or leaving his children to one of them. I think I would leave them to one of my sibs before I woudl a good friend (Diana Ross). I feel bad for M.J., seems like his father really did a number on him, and has the whole family brainwashed. M.J. seems like the only one who had the balls to leave them all behind (except his mother), but it obviously affected him and this gave him a life of isolation, depression, self-loathing, and weirdness, because he was never equipped (maturity level) to function in the real world- thanks to his tyrant father. All the Jacksons seem to have some issues, but M.J. was the one who essentially made all of them. I think Janet has talent, and would have made it on her own, but not the rest of them.

47. i am disgusted and sick to my stomach at the pedophile. child molesting. child drugging, child masturbating idol worship of this pornographer. the poster child for child molesters everywhere is dead because he was mentally unstable and a freak. He made this life for his self. No one did this he did. He made choices to destroy families so he could sleep with the little boys in the family. He made the choice to drug them with Jesus Juice. Tmz, cnn, nancy grace, you disgust me with your hypocritical defense of the child molester jackson. This entire nation has shown it's stupidity and idol worship of a pedophile. He was a drug addict and a swindler. And in the end he swindled his children out of money. He could have very easily left 20% to his mother and each child, instead he swindled the children he never loved enough to adopt. Don't you all realize these children were nothing but play things to him. Something to possess just like the animals he once had. R I P my ass. I hope he spends his days in child molesting hell.

48. I do believe we can't judge anybody, because we will also be judged in the same way. The most important fo it all is the unconditional love
one has for their children and also this feeling we have towards people like Michael Jackson who, however, we have never met we feel like
losing a CLOSE PERSON TO US. Somehow they know they're loved, they will keep it forever, nobody can't take it from us.
His death made me deeply sad, completely unexpected. It was a shock.
I hope he may find now 'the peace that he couldn't find on earth'.

Ever since Michael's sudden death last week, TMZ and all the other media have acted like bloodthirsty vultures picking apart their prey insinuating every salicious detail you can find about what you think could've caused his death. Then on top of that, you go after his children with that heartless piece that he and Debbie aren't the biological parents. Michael is and will always be those childrens father. Also Paris has a striking resemblance to Debbie Rowe. Those children are grieving for their father and I thought it was incredibly heartless and cruel for you to say that garbage. Also, how the hell do you know that his body was riddled with needle marks when no one has seen the coroner report. Who cares if the family is grieving for their father, son, brother what's only important to TMZ is the scope, the exclusive and you'll pay anyone you can to get it. You make me sick TMZ and one day you will answer when you stand before God for your utter lack of compassion to the Jackson family. TMZ is disgusting.

51. Ultimately, it was Michael Jackson's decision to illicitly use
anethesia and/or other drugs that killed him...just like any addict.
Even therapy or rehab wouldn't have helped him, if he wasn't willing
to admit he had a problem--which he obviously wasn't. Typical
selfish addict. Great entertainer, and philanthropist. He should
have put as much effort into solving his own problems as he did on
trying to save the world.

53. 34. Michael needed all kinds of drugs in his last years. This drug was to help him sleep. He could barley breath most of the time when laying down. This drug didn't kill him. He was up at his time of death, not asleep. He died of a cardiac arrest remember? This drug would not speed up his heart rate. It is an immobilizing drug. wwww.wallycrawler.blogspot.com

This drug can stop the heartbeat if too much is taken. A heart attack isn't essentially your heart beating so fast it stops. A heart attack is just when your heart suddenly stops beating. So if he was given too much of this drug and his heart stopped beating they would've deemed it as cardiac arrest.

55. All very strange... Randy Phillips refers to MJ as his dear friend. It has been well documented that MJ has had a addiction to painkillers for a number of years - since the child abuse allegations. MJ looked gaunt at his press conference @ the o2 - raising the debate as to weather he could physically do all 50 dates. I have watched the rehearsals clip released by AEG - my opinion is - although he seemed confident and happy and gave his all on that stage no way did he look like he was in prime health, he looked tired - he did not look physically ready for a 50 date stint which started in little over 2 weeks- What i don't get is how come MJ's friend Randy phillips didn't see or think this and earlier? MJ was clearly a man with problems who was still getting over the stress from the last few years. It seemed all a bit rushed - why not get your friend better - train him up for a year and monitor his progress repeatedly until the first date with doctors, health checks etc before sticking him on stage for his big come back- if you have best interest at heart. i don't think MJ wanted to die (i was personally surprised he made it to 50 - after years of calling himself peter pan) but i thought it strange at the time - his choice of words 'the final curtain' then muttering something under his breath when he said 'because' ...a self fore-filled prophecy.... either way AEG $$$$$$ in the long run...and MJ's family and us fans lose a kind soul...

59. I too am wondering if it's actually possible to become "addicted" to anesthesia?
Total speculation: Maybe he wanted to sample as many different kinds of anesthesia as possible to determine which worked best to get him to sleep and left him in a functional state after the anesthesia was cut off. It could have been his plan (albeit a medically unsound one) to use anesthesia as a "cure" for his insomnia.
I am very suspicious of the Anesthesiologist on CNN last night who traveled with MJ on tour. When confronted by Dr. Gupta with allegations of anesthetizing MJ nightly in hotel rooms, all he said was "I don't wanna talk about it". I would think any normal Dr. would have been all "Never/not on your life/absolutely not, etc.

60. #34 (Emma), a heart attack isn't when the stop. It's when the blood flow to a particular part of the heart is disrupted or blocked. Cardiac arrest is when the heart completely stops. If the person isn't provided with professional medical help within about 3 minutes, that is it. MJ had a cardiac arrest. His heart literally, just stopped. Pretty sad, knowing now that there's drugs that were found in his residence at the time, that could lead to such a tragic occurrence. What sucks the most, is now finding out that these drugs should only be administered during a surgical procedure and by no means, should have been in his residence...so some doctor is definitely going to get in trouble. The question just is, who?
