Former "American Idol" star Taylor Hicks laid out in Mexico yesterday, working on his soulful tan.
Hicks has not had a song make the charts since 2006.

32. Actually, I make several million a year, I'm willing to bet my life that he doesn't do that. HIs life is a total faliure. He was voted as the winner of Idol as a joke from the people at votefortheworst.com.

35. Since TMZ just harrassed him a few months ago here at the Roxy (I was there) they know full well that pic showing jowls is not what he looks like. All anyone has to do is go to Getty Images or one of the pro spots to see, or go on YouTube. OR, go out to Riverside raceway today where he is doing a concert for the 4th. Actually he did have two songs off each album that charted.............with little radio play. His video at AOL is holding its own. His tour in 2007 grossed 27th among all artists and with him as the headliner.......not opening for anyone. His gig in Grease has been a win win for the production and him. He has worked harder than any other Idol since his win ....and maybe before. He has his plans set up to maintain his career for the long term and his eye on longevity. Also, he keeps more of his money than most. If you care.........read the article in the July issue of Birmingham magazine and you will see that this guy is not only an artist and entertainer, but a shrewd businessman. This info is of course only for those who like to go beyond Harveys little gossip venture. No, Harvey, you will never be accepted by the people of L.A. as a legitimate reporter again.

36. Let's be reasonable now. Just because you like the man, it doesn't mean his career has been any good in the recent years. It's true he hasn't been on the charts. People have not been buying his music and no one has been attending his concerts. He ended up having to give away a bunch of free tickets because they weren't selling. He's also resorted to having to sign CDs in the ladies plus size section at Wal-Mart for middle aged women in their motorized scooters (no, that isn't a joke. Part of me wishes it was because it sounds so pathetic).
The truth is, Hicks is one of the least successful winners of Idol. He was mediocre at best on the show, so it's really no wonder his career has been a total flop.

He's actually slimmer than I thought he would be.
