Hicks has not had a song make the charts since 2006.

Completely understandable that fans of Taylor Hicks would follow him even to this lame TMZ site. But why, oh, why are self=professed NON-fans still such ardent followers of Taylor Hicks?
Taylor Hicks is a helluva bluesman. It's too bad American Idol has left its apparently indelible stain on the man while at the same time rocketing him into the spotlight.. But, as you can see from even this distorted photo, he's not losing a lot of sleerp over you oddly obsessed anti-fans.

69. daughtry fans...give it up..what kind of adults go out of their way to follow a guy and make nasty comments because he beat out your favorite on a tv show....daughtry came in fourth place...deal with it ...get over it. Eliot was a better singer than Chris hands down and Taylor was a better all round performer with a great attitude. Katherine was...well Simon liked her!! My God

70. Some of you must be blind. That is a smokin' bod right there! The man has gotten more and more gorgeous over the years. And unless you follow the mans career then ofcourse you would know nothing about all the stuff he has done in the last 3 years. He's been working his sweet ass off non-stop since AI. So stop talking out of your asses. Oh, and FORBES magazine just named him one of the top Idol money earners this past year. Yes, even over Daughtry. The man is doing quite well. He looks plenty relaxed and not a bit worried about the peons that like to hate on him for no reason. He's livin' the high life. And lookin' freakin good doing it!

73. This would have been more interesting if TMZ didn't distort the photos all to hell to try and make him look bad. Unedited photos of Taylor Hicks shirtless in Mexico would have brought in a lot more hits than this trash, it doesn't look like him at all. I've seen him in person and he is GORGEOUS, better looking than Clooney. Same lame TMZ..
