54. I agree about Jamie Foxx being a racist... I will never spend a dime to see anything he is in.... Also, Al Sharpton was at a black chruch complaining there hasn't been enough positive media coverage of MJ. Sadly many in the black community Foxx and Sharpton refuse to consider that Michael Jackson died during an era for the 24 hour news cycle, there was no CNN, and now the blending of gossip and news. News is now speculation and the 24 hour news cycles needs to fill that time with facts, rumors, gossip, and speculation. Many try to compare it to Elvis... there were no news magazines, gossip shows on TV when Elvis died (maybe E.T). There was NO INTERNET therefore no internet gossip web sites, no Twitter. There were no cell phones and text messaging, my godness the first cassette Sony Walkman came out 2 years after Elvis death. There was just a handful of gossip magazines.... so, yes there has been a lot of coverage MUCH MORE THAN ELVIS. Had Elvis died during this time we would have heard the same crappola....because bottom line GOSSIP SELLS. Everyone comes out of woodwork and throw their two cents in. You cannot talk about MJ without the charges .... and for what it is worth I don't believe he molested anyone.

56. Mr King is an idiot who listens to anything that the gossip magazines and news tell him. Maybe he should do some actual research instead of relying on someone else's opinion. Moran. It's people like this that made MJ hurt inside because everyone wants to believe in rumors and lies then believe MJ himself in interviews.

What he also fails to realize is that there are also child molesters running around in our armed forces. Let's not forget the alcoholic drug addicted, STD ridden soldiers.

I was in the military long enough to see it all.

But that doesn't speak for all the military. There are some wonderful men and women serving their country. Thank God for them.

57. Why do people always do this? If a celebrity spends a lot of money, someone starts shouting, "Look at them throwing money away when there are STARVING CHILDREN IN THE WORLD that could eat for twenty years on that much money!" If someone starts protesting for animal rights, nay-sayers start furiously demanding to know why they aren't protesting for HUMAN rights instead of animals.

Now, if fans of Michael Jackson wish to mourn his death, some asshat has to say they should be mourning soldiers. Well you know what? Even if they weren't going to MJ's memorial, I'd bet dollars to cupcakes that they wouldn't be having some big military-support parade. Just because they do one thing doesn't mean it's at the expense of another.


And leave it to a Republican to condemn someone for something they were found innocent of, anyway. What an asshat.
