Jon & Kate Rekindle the Spark
In a shocking turn of events, Jon and Kate Gosselin reunited yesterday -- not for a televised special -- but for the sake of the their kids. 
The happy family celebrated the Fourth of July in Reading, Pa. yesterday.

32. @ RUTHERE - I think it's safe to say that most people are responsible enough to avoid having a litter of 8 kids and have the common sense to live within their means. If you're dumb enough to have that many kids and dumb enough to get involved with "reality" TV, then you get what you deserve.

36. PEOPLE! I cant belive you all! go ahead and make fun of her hair or whatever you can grab at. They cant do it in the back yard because there are weeds and trees the catch FIRE!! they have to do it where there is cement. They need to live there lives as they would with or with out the cameras taking pictures. I think that she is super strong to kick that lazy ass man out and do this all on her own, and if she needs to have thick skin because she has to deal with all you stupid people judging her, then so be it!!! God blees Kate and her family and everything will work out for you!!!

37. This idiot has to realize what he has done for his family. He practically drove all them under the bus. If not for him, at least all the kids's furture would have been set. There was so many outlets that he could have turned to keep his OWN family secure, but I guess he comes before all. So selfish and couldn't give a ratz as@ about anybody but himself.

42. TLC producers probably scripted this 'family event' for a little PR damage control. They've been getting tons of petitions to pull the show and to get those kids off the air.

43. Oh yeah, looks like a really happy family celebration, NOT!!! Look at her face!!!!! I thought they were going to stay out of the media and not have photos taken, etc. Didn't last very long did it? They have tons of property that they could have done the sparkler thing on and they chose to do it where their pic's could be taken, give me a break!!!

44. So any kvetch anybody has with the kids, the family's lifestyle, etc. is ENTIRELY Kate's fault? That's rich! Jon is just as complict as Kate as far as going along with this Potemkin village of a marriage. I know Kate is a convenient lighting rod for everybody to vent their spleen at, but pussilanimous, fat, ugly-ass Jon is just as much to blame. Both of them deserve a 50% share of the blame, as far as the dissolution of their marriage.
Maybe one of these days, Jon the doormat, will grow a spine and actually develop some self-respect.If he was so miserable early on, why didn't HE file for divorce. The gravy train was too lucrative, right? He's done his part to perpetuate this sham of a happy family, Hopefully he'll receive his share of obloquy in the future.
