eBay Wages War with Jackson Ticket Scalpers

Sales for tickets to attend the King of Pop's final farewell are running rampant on sites like eBay, but watch out before you put in a bid -- the company is removing tickets sales from the site as fast as possible.

MIchael Jackson

We got a screen grab of a pair of tickets that already cost $10,000 (kind of them to offer free shipping) -- but the link was disabled shortly after we found it.

Incredibly expensive and hard to get? Good luck...

49. i cannot beieve the level of human beings that are on this planet. no concious whatsoever to put this ticket on line and then to have jackasses bid almost $10,000!!!!! are you kidding me!!!!???!! what kind of people would actually spend that type of money on a ticket, regardless of who it is? thank you ebay for stopping these losers in their tracks. people who would buy a ticket at this price should seriously go seek help with a professional, because something is missing upstairs.

50. It is ridiculous that the jackson family must have this huge send off for their son. If they choose so then they should pay for all of it...extra police, any damages, crowd control....EVERYTHING. But somehow the overburdened taxpayers of Calif. will foot the bill. makes no sense. I am sick to death of all the over play on every channel concerning Jackson. No I am not jealous of him or his nutty family. No I have never been a fan....and frankly there are many black artistists who were greater talents than any of the Jacksons could ever be. Grow up everyone....he over dosed, he was not a good role model, and his kids will suffer all their lives for having him as a father, Debbie Rowe as a mother and all this needless hoopla.

53. i think what needs to be remembered is that it is the Jackson family and AEG who have arranged this event. even through they are grieving and taking care of the children etc

they did it because they recognised a need from public reactions

they have to be admired for this. they have also ensured this event is free, even tv stations where they could of charged

whether a MJ fan or not their efforts should be respected and people do want the opportunity to grieve whether family, friends or friends

it is out of order, disrespectful and morally criminal to sell these tickets

55. Well what can I say its been one of the worst weeks of my life and im not even a huge fan of MJ so I really feel for his loyal fans right now it must be totally devestating. It makes it a whole lot worse when you have these bitter animals flooding all the Michael Jackson articles and forums with repulsive content. Towards the end this poor innocent soul became so messed up because of sheeps dressed as lambs and leeches clinging to his wallet. Kids parents trying to make money out of him left right and center then you have that Bashir who tarnished his reputation beyond belief and made Michael look like he was a patient being interviewed by a psychiatrist. I mean for gods sake how many of us would remain sane under such circumstances? pulling up at court every day with barely enough energy to walk. Under that kind of stress and given the fact he was on strong painkillers back then his body should have given up long ago but the fighter in him kept on going. Michael was taken way too soon and there are a lot of people who need to give a lot of answers because there are a lot of vulchers out there with his blood on their beaks.

Millions love you Michael and we always will, Heathcliffe

56. how do people have 10k to throw away for some memorial tickets which although I'm a fan of MJ I'm pretty sure the event isn't worth 10k to go see which you will have a much better view on your tv at home and for free. I guess the MJ memorial is recession proof?

57. This is just plain wrong.

As for the molestation, did anyone forget the famous taping of the Dad admitting it was for money! It was all over the news at the time, do your research people before you judge.

Like all of you are so dam perfect.
