eBay Wages War with Jackson Ticket Scalpers

Sales for tickets to attend the King of Pop's final farewell are running rampant on sites like eBay, but watch out before you put in a bid -- the company is removing tickets sales from the site as fast as possible.

MIchael Jackson

We got a screen grab of a pair of tickets that already cost $10,000 (kind of them to offer free shipping) -- but the link was disabled shortly after we found it.

Incredibly expensive and hard to get? Good luck...

62. I went t with a friend this morning to pick up her tickets, she had to show her email confirmation and her picture ID, they checked to verify the names matched. She was given her 2 tickets to Staples and 1 wristband and the other wristband was placed on her wrist at that time and she was told not to try to remove it. Their is no way you can get a ticket on Ebay and be able to use it unless they live in CA and THEY first PU the ticket and then meet and give it to the buyer

63. Was not a HUGE MJ fan and not a hater either. This whole circus is just sad. People can be such animals when greed gets a hold of them. Michael Jackson is dead and he deserves some respect. Respect meaning stop with all the BS. Just let things BE. That is what anyone that dies deserves...not just MJ. Take your passion and put it towards something to make the world a better place. STOP with the hatred and the idolizing, They are both creepy. Are there any grounded people left in the world or do they just not post on TMZ? Balance is the key to life people...being grounded helps too!

64. Last time I checked this was a free country and I see no reason why some who "won" tickets to attend a funeral wouldn't be able to sell them. Are there not all kinds of items being sold at any given moment for hundreds of dollars just because the item was some how connected to a famous person? MJ was a great artist and will forever be a part of this country's music history...but for all of you who think you won a ticket a funeral...please you are going to a concert. Just check out the list of performers that TMZ was kind enough to post for you all.

65. I feel extremely for the English, German and other's, who are massive fan's of Micheal, I am English myself and wanted to attend, for the money grabbers who are selling the memorial tickets on ebay, they have a serious lack of moral's on their upbringing..They will look in the mirror every morning and say to themselve's...boy am I good, lol...sad ...are you? (good).. really!!, Mj fans and many humane people would disagree....This decade, we have some of the best if not the best. The Beatle's, Micheal and Bob Marley all stood for peace, love and crossing boundaries. I feel for the fan's who could not attend, though at the same time, doe's it really matter where we celebrate this day (being tomorrow) If you are in America, you are a fan of MJ then you know you are part of something special, if you are in America with a ticket and you are a fan wow man good for you, and treasure every second, if you Are anywhere else in the world and looking through a T.V or Internet source to see this tribute, feel proud of being part of something extremely special, the whole world of Mj fan's will feel the same closeness, feel the same tears stream into a celebration wherever you are, Lets show the world we can love and show these miraculous gifted performer's that we have lost this past Decade, Micheal, The King Of Pop, my childhood legend and many others, George Harrison, a true, poetic and peace loving person, Christopher Reeve, a Hero who touched us all with love and crossed boundaries in pain with his spinal cord injury. Maurice Gibb who struggled through alcoholism, what these extraordinary people have in common is, they wanted worrld peace and the world one day to celebrate come together and sing, it doe's not matter where we are, Micheal will know how much he is loved just by watching a small tv screen from inside our own home's and light a candle or couple hundred lol, to the true MJ fans .....You Have my respect More than anyone....peace, love and truth to you all...respect bro's, A legend never die's

68. first off those tickets are probably fake because you had to pick them up yourself at the staples center with a special code and receive a wrist band, you have to pick them up personally and their are a lot of fake ones out there. Only a few thousands got tickets those people sure are lucky. Who is going to sell funeral tickets? Thats trashy and in bad taste, everyone trying to earn a buck at someones expense. Those tickets would be worth a ton though if someone would sell them, a memorial for MJ and all those stars there? come on that would be an arm and a legs worth but like I said anyone that does sell those are trashy.

71. Typical trash humans.

Thanks to these scum bag worthless losers, pretty soon any ticket you buy for any event is going to have your name printed on it and IDs checked at the entrance.

If I was giving away a limited number of free tickets to my air museum, I would want them to go to people who were going to go. It's not a lottery for every loser in the world to sign up for so they can sell the tickets later. You took MY generosity away by taking someones spot. What if all the tickets were won by opportunists, then sold to rich people? It wasn't my intention for only rich people to have the opportunity; it was a random selection.

Oh why bother. These people are just more pathetic wastes of space on this earth who all should probably be gunned down and giving a dirt nap. They believe in nothing, they respect nothing, they value nothing. They are a threat to our national security. They wouldn't do ANYTHING to fight a foreign invasion if it meant the possibility of dying.

Weaklings. You shouldn't have even been born. Your parents must completely fail at life.
