The deadline to pick up Michael Jackson memorial tickets is causing a frenzy, because some of the ticket holders -- especially those who live out of state -- can't make it to the ticket counter by the 6PM deadline.
Right now, anyone who was selected to attend must present the voucher for their tickets by 6PM at Dodger Stadium.
An AEG spokesman tells us they've been receiving complaints and are now considering pushing the deadline.

62. While I realize that people want to be there...first off the body will more than likely NOT be there and no matter which venue was selected there wouldn't have been room for everyone who wanted to attend.
I'm surprised that I haven't heard/read anything of 'memorial parties' being organized in local areas. The memorial is going to be televised worldwide - why couldn't people in other parts of the world organize parties for their local area, similar to Super Bowl or Kentucky Derby parties?

69. the idiots running this lottery for the MJ memorial are to be blamed.. why did you open it up to the whole world to try and get tickets in less than a 24 hour period? and WHY are you giving two tickets together? Gosh, you could have used your heads and done just about anything different.
