McNairs Were Looking to Buy Another Home

Steve McNairThe fact that Steve McNair's home was on the market while he was having an affair has caused speculation that he was getting a divorce ... but we just found out he and his wife were actually looking to buy another home.

We spoke to McNair's realtor, who said Steve and Mechelle were selling their massive Nashville home to buy another one "near a lake."

We're told the Nashville home was set to be sold for $2.9 million, and that Mechelle told the realtor yesterday that she wanted the sale to go ahead as planned.

McNair was found shot to death on Saturday along with Sahel Kazemi -- the woman police say he had been "dating."

35. Everyone's jumping all over Mcnair for cheating but that ugly chick was sleeping with a married man. Zero morals and what was she doing buying a gun? Freak. She's the asshole in this story. Ugly psycho should have skipped the fake boobs and fixed that humpty nose of hers instead. Mcnairs wife was 100x better looking but even if he was bored, yikes, what was he thinking? 40. First of all let's not forget that Jenny (Sahel) is a human being. And she was a very good human being. She would do anything for you. She had a great personality, vitality, and a lot of life left in her. No one was in the situation to see what really happened. Please before you judge, make sure you are perfect and have absolutely no issues. 41. His wife could not have been totally oblivious to his wandering ways. Several posts by Nashville locals have said he paraded his women around without a concern. Do you really think one of the wife's girlfriends or family never told her? She is smart to play dumb right now though cuz she gets all the sympathy. She might be similar to Jackie Kennedy who knew full well the president had a stable but liked her lifestyle. It is all choices we make.

42. His wife and children will go on. It will take time and the family to help his wife deal with this. I am sure that he loved her and the children and this was just what it appears to be..... nothing more than a cheap affair. Nothing to do with love between them. It is a shame that he lost his life over something so unmeaning. Affairs happenand his wife should realize that she did nothing wrong. This is not her fault. He strayed and he paid the price.
