16. I agree with you #1 Amanda! Brooke's speech was the most tender and sincere. She spoke about with no other purpose then to honor the good of Michael. A lot of the other speakers seemed angry with agendas. Magic Johnson was tacky, sounding like he was trying to turn the memorial into a custody hearing. Brooke, Usher & then of course sweet little Paris at the end touched me the most. Very sad for the kids. :*(

17. She did not belong there. She has not seen or talked to Michael in years. At least Jermaine seemed sincere. I feel so bad for MJ's kids through all this hoopla.

19. Brooke Looked beautiful. I believe she was most sincere..we have all had childhood and teenage friends that we drifted from so it's okay that they haven't spoken up to his death. You can see that she was genuine and kind. She did a great job. Let us not use this time to judge anyone..let us focus on the grieving family, especially his Mom and children. THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BE PETTY AND FORGET THE FACT THAT MICHAEL JACKSON IS DEAD AND WE ALL MISS HIM AND FEEL SORRY FOR ALL THAT HAPPENED!!!

20. Michael Jackson, to quote a lyric from one of your songs...I want you to know, “You are not alone.” Not anymore. I believe you are now, the angel in heaven you sought so hard to be here on earth. You were so misunderstood, vilified, and beat upon. There was so much mockery and hatred of you, for only one reason. You’re goodness; your luminosity into the beautiful heart you believed could be in every man. You had such generosity, and tried so hard to teach others, to look into the soul; and to not judge based on color, creed or class.
But darkness, doesn’t like beauty to shine. It detracts so much from what it is trying to do. Create dark humanless souls of us all. To replace the radiance that was born within all of us, by God. You spoke of nothing, but love and peace. Your light through your words, and music shone so bright. You’ve brought so much too so many, but only sought pure love for yourself. Your sensitivity brought ridicule. When all you wished most of all was to be embraced and understood. You had such a creative, gentle, kind spirit.
I think what personally stood out to me most of all; was your tender nature. Envy in other people mistook that for weakness, when in reality it is strength. The force of who you were was so strong. Many people wish to have that, but could never achieve it. So they became jealous and spiteful towards your achievements.
We are all afforded different opportunities in life. Instead of being envious, they should have rejoiced with you, in your success and in your life.

24. the Zombie person that says Brooke did not belong there-you know you need to know what it means to have class or learn to be dignified...this is a duneral and just because they wern't on the phone evrey day does not mean she does not genuinley love him and care.....Michael is dead and we are all grieving...so take a verse from Michael's song "man in the mirror and ....let the change begin with you and in you before you judge someone so harsghly..the family believed in her and okay her speaking so who are you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In spite of the time that separated your relationship with MJ, your true love & loyalty to your friendship shined through. You presented the private side of this ever fun loving & dedicated human being. He is blessed to have your friendship, and the appreciation of millions around the globe. May heaven be all that he missed here on earth. Just wish I knew someone like you to speak at my memorial service.

27. Its nice to smile but its very hard to do that sometimes. That was really nice song that Jermaine sang he sure had some strength to do that, same with Brooke I could have never done that if I was grieving. God bless them.

28. I found a photo gallery of Michael Jackson’s Memorial Service LIVE Today. He will greatly be missed by people all over the world. I watched the service today remembering the “King of Pop”. 30. Brooke Shields made the story real! She added HER history with Michael! It doesn't matter how long ago it was! I was touched by her comments and believed that she was sincere in her recounting their special relationship as unique to a world most of us can never understand.
