46. Mariah Carey did not do well at all! She should have worn a simple plain black or white dress! Look at Jennifer Hudson very classy lady! As for the signing it was over the top, she should have made it simple without the theatrics, her hair would have been better up, definitely not one of her classier performances. Disappointed! Definitely should have left Trey to sing the song, look at Usher's tribute very classy sincere guy!!!

49. Sarah Dear, Mariah is only successful in numbers. That is the problem with you Mariah Carey fans. You measure everything in number. That means nothing just as her music means nothing. It isn't timeless and it won't endure the test of decades to come. Not one of her songs are considered a "Classic". Music that stirs the soul and makes you think back to the good times when you first heard it. All you lambs have are numbers. This woman isn't an artist. She stopped being that over ten years ago. She is a fake, manufactured, and cartoon like entity that makes money. No one takes her seriously outside of her base.

And by the way, Obsessed, like all her other singles, rocket to the top now because of download campaigns that her lambs put together buying multiple copies to get her to number one. Most other serious artist don't have that and don't need it. At the end of the day, Mariah Carey is a clown and fodder of the business. She has decided to go that way which is why she is mocked.

This was a memorial service, not a cocktail party in the country. She should have covered up her chest. But then, that's all she is now is her looks. She is such a wasted talent gone wrong. She was immaculate back in the day (When Tommy was in the picture) but since then, she is nothing more than...well, you get the picture.

There is nothing great about this seven year old woman besides her mind thinking how great she is. Jennifer Hudson, though unintentionally, showed her up for what a real singer is. Hell, her background singer sang better than her. She can't sing anymore and she uses distractions and thinks that we fall for them.

Take note here today. This woman would NEVER get the public respect and support for her or her work or career like that of this truly great entertainer...cause he was real. Flaws and all, he was real. She is nothing more than something to fill the space until someone authentic comes around. She isn't on the level of the greats and never will be. She just sells records and makes money. That's it and that's all she is.

Mariah NEEDS to shut her big yap and go home to her teeny-bopper son... I mean, husband and take care of the "twins" (if you know what I mean).

53. Wow. Some of you sound like a bunch of 90 year-old blue-haired church women. I don't see anything wrong with her cleavage. It's not like her tits were hanging out everywhere. And to Ms. Jennifer B., the wannabe music history expert, I do remember Mariah's older songs, and I'm sure a lot of other people do as well, and they do remind me of a time and era of when I first heard them.. Yup, been there done that. It IS tough to do. I choked up at my boy friend's memorial when I was in high school, having to sing The Cure's Pictures of You and choked up at the fourth word and could barely make it through the rest of the song. Very painful memories. I'm no fan of MJ but I sure have mad respects for his talents and gifts he brought so selflessly into and onto the world. I seriously hope that his beautiful children carry on their father's humanitarian works. RiP MJ!
