Diana Ross -- I'll Be There for MJ's Kids

Diana RossThough she was not at the memorial service today, Diana Ross, who Micheal requested look after his kids in his will if his mother was unable to, released the following statement:

"I am trying to find closure, I want you to know that even though I am not there at the Staples Center. I am there in my heart. I have decided to pause and be silent. This feels right for me. Michael was a personal love of mine, a treasured part of my world, part of the fabric of my life in a way that I can't seem to find words to express. Michael wanted me to be there for his children, and I will be there if they ever they need me. I hope, today brings closure for all those who loved him. Thank you Katherine and Joe for sharing your son with the world and with me. I send my love and condolences to the Jackson family."

107. I've been a Michael Jackson fan for 40 years and will always love the music. I still have my J5 Christmas album, and 45 records (with no device for playback connected anywhere), so I've purchased CDs of the songs i want to hear. I've even moved my copy of Moonwalk to six or seven addresses in multiple states, but hell will freeze over before I buy a memorial service DVD! It was an appropriate tribute, but I just think selling videos of a funeral, memorial service, whatever is down right TACKY. There's an insurance policy to cover AEG's losses on ticket sales and pre-production expeneses, provided MJ is not responsible for his own demise. That's probably the reason for all the talk about foul play now.

113. Well put; to dfsn. Diana Ross never has shaken the cruelty leashed upon her for attending the funeral of fellow (ex supreme) Florence Ballard. No doubt she is in protective mode. so that she won't be accused of upstaging, or seeking attention for herself. And for those who need to know, yes you will always have sadness and pain associated with the death of someone you love, but you can get closure from the actual event allowing yourself to move forward and celebrate that life whichtouched yours..

114. I think diana ross should have there for him because they were so close and i knew michael loved her as family but im glad she explained why she couldnt be there! There are rumors that mrs. jackson did not like her because Michael put her in the will as a second guardian of the children. i think its not true!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rest In Peace Michael, U WILL BE MISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
