Michael Jackson Memorial

Michael JacksonWe've learned Michael Jackson's body will not be going back to Forest Lawn.

The body will go somewhere else pending final burial -- we don't know where that is. If a casket goes to Forest Lawn, it's a decoy.

We've learned the death certificate lists Forest Lawn as the responsible mortuary because the body was embalmed there -- but the rest is being kept secret.

Michael's Memorial

After over two hours of speeches and songs, Michael Jackson's poignant and sad memorial service has come to an end. Check out some of the memorial highlights.

Jackson Death Certificate

We've obtained a copy of Michael Jackson's death certificate. On cause of death, it says "deferred."

It does say Forest Lawn Cemetery was a "temporary" disposition of the body. As we first reported the body will not go back to Forest Lawn. Final burial is pending at an unknown location.

Jackson's occupation is listed as "musician." The type of business is "entertainment." Years in occupation -- 45.

As for race, the word "black" is written.

The informant -- the person who gave the information for the death certificate -- is listed as La Toya Jackson.

The place of residence is not listed as the Holmby Hills home -- rather, it's listed as his parents' home in Encino.

Michael's Daughter: 'I Love Him So Much'

Michael Jackson's only daughter, 11-year-old Paris Michael Katherine, just gave an emotional speech at her father's memorial service -- saying he was the "best father you could ever imagine. I love him so much."

Jackson Chopper Contingency

Michael JacksonLaw enforcement tells us their contingency plan to get Michael Jackson from Forest Lawn to Staples Center has some danger associated with it.

L.A. City Fire Captain William Wick says if a processional on the freeway is too dicey, a fire dept. chopper will take Jackson's body to downtown L.A. But he says "I'm concerned for our pilot's safety," because of the 20 news choppers hovering around in a tight air space.

Capt. Wick says he's considering calling the FAA to restrict the airspace.

Again, the plan is to take Jackson's body by motorcade -- the helicopter plan is the contingency, but they're getting ready for it.

Motorcade Sponsored by Range Rover, Rolls

Motorcade Sponsored by Range RoverWe've learned the Range Rovers in the motorcade transporting Michael Jackson's family to Forest Lawn was handled by Land Rover Encino.

We're told last night at 10 PM 10 drivers pulled up to Encino Range Rover and picked up 10 vehicles -- a combo of regular and superchargers.

We also just found out O'Gara Coach Company in Bev Hills, and the dealership allowed the family to use 3 of its cars.

The dealership is not charging the Jackson family.

The vehicles will be returned tonight.

SWAT Team to Escort Jackson Body

Michael JacksonWe've just learned law enforcement has launched a plan to escort Michael Jackson's body from Forest Lawn to the Staples Center.

The plan calls for a "heavy motorcade" with the LAPD's SWAT team as part of the escort.

There is also a contingency plan to helicopter the body to Staples if there's an issue of safety.

We're also told approximately 100 people will attend the private memorial at Forest Lawn -- mostly family members. After the service the plan is to follow the body to Staples.

31. SIMPLY...
MJ WAS A 1 OF A KIND STAR WHO WAS BROUGHT UP IN A SICK HOUSEHOLD AND MOLESTED ALONG WITH OTHER SIBLINGS. WHETHER MJ MOLESTED THOSE CHILDREN HE WAS ACCUSED OF OR "JUST HAD THEM SLEEP IN HIS BED", THE MAN HAD MAJOR PROBLEMS PSYCHOLOGICALLY. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS MUSIC, LYRICS AND DANCE TALENT BUT AN ALL DAY MEMORIAL HAS BECOME THE R-E-A-L CIRCUS IN TOWN. THOSE CHILDREN DO NOT BELONG WITH THE GRANDMOTHER - THE SAME ENVIRONMENT MJ GREW UP IN????? EVEN IF MJ'S DAD DOESN'T "LIVE" THERE. PSYCHOLOGICALLY, IT WASN'T JUST MJ'S DAD WHO MOLESTED MANY OF THE CHILDREN; HIS MOTHER A-L-L-O-W-E-D IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO LONG TO MJ AND IN PEACE. FIND A G-O-O-D HOME FOR THE CHILDREN TO LIVE IN; TOGETHER!!!!
ENOUGH!! PUT THE N-E-W-S BACK ON SO I CAN HEAR WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MY COUNTRY AND AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

32. Back in the 80s, Michael was at his best.. My "girls" and I called ourselves the PYTs... It breaks my heart that Michael wasn't strong enough to continue using his amazing talent throughout these past recent years, but allowed himself to hide away, and be addicted to painkillers and plastic surgery. I both love him and am angry at him.. Most of all, my prayers of comfort are with his family and close friends, that their grief will be brief..

33. R.I.P MJ

As for the City of L.A asking fans to chip in to cover expenses. Maybe the Mayor of L.A. never took a course in economics, because from my perspective, if the conservative estimate of 700,000 people show up in L.A. and they book hotel rooms, eat at the restaurants and spend money in L.A. the tax receipts form this enormous event should more than cover the costs to the city. Let's not get greedy and start gouging people for more money. Fact remains that for an event like this, many cities would have happily hosted it knowing that the influx of that many people alone would be a financial boon to their city.

34. How is MJ any different from OJ. They both are sorry POS's. MJ is not king. You people just want to be able to say that he was just as good as Elvis, who was the real King. He will never be remembered that way. He will allways be a child molesting freak.

38. This is great. Really great. The state of California is in debt, yet they are paying tribute to a pedofile and aasking residents for money and yet they are trying to tear down a memorial to our WWII vets? Where is the Logic? MJ did nothing for our country except to splash his filthy antics all over the papers the internet and the world.

41. No ones perfect in this world and everyone makes mistakes like you all are so perfect? He is being remembered for the great things he did and what he accomplished in life. No one cares if you like him or not, keep your disgusting comments to yourself. Instead of saying your digsusting comments have some respect and say a prayer for his family. Rest in peace MJ.

42. and JSkitty, that is what people remember - the Michael that we all grew up with. I would like to add that it has NEVER been proven that Jackson touched those boys inappropriately. The first kid came on national news and said his father put him up to the lie to exhort money from Jackson. Another thing is why would any parent allow their child to sleep in the home of someone they don't know personally? Michael had some issues his family should have insisted he get help for due to the resentment he had towards his father. It is unrealistic to think that the media would not put so much emphasis on an icon. He was around since he was a little boy and was making a big comeback. I didn't care for Elvis Presley either, but respect the feelings people had about him or Princess Diana, etc. Fame does not bring happiness nor will it wipe out the emotional pain many have and the fake friends that claim to be there for them, until something happens when that individual really needs the support. Michael's family was in denial, hence the weird behavior and addiction (plastic surgery, pain killers). Think of your lowest point and not having the support system to get you the help you need. Anyway, he is in a better place as far as not dealing with the emotional and physical pain anymore. Mrs. Catherine Jackson is a strong woman due to her faith and I wish her the best. I thank CNN for airing and following up on Jackson just as I did when James Brown passed. No one is perfect, we all have demons in our lives we have to battle, some beter than others. Just about everyone was there for the money and when he faced his issues, America did not care. However, Europeans supported him better than we did. Anyway, this is one of the reasons why we need to teach our children not to look up to these celebrities as idols because no one knows what their darkest moments or hidden agendas are like, but to appreciate what they can, community/charity work and their talent. I respect Michael's talent, but I was never a big fan of his. He was a genious no doubt and that should not be taken away from him.

43. If I were a tax payer in LA I would be sueing the county and city for using any tax payers dollars. UNBELIEVABLE

44. Regardless of his eccentricities, Michael Jackson WAS talented. All of the people who are flaming him and bashing him here do not have an ounce of intelligence about them. Whether or not you like him as a person, you cannot deny the 200+ awards he won for music and humanitarian efforts and the ways in which he changed the recording industry.

If it was not for Michael, you young punks would not have half of the music and singers you like to listen to today. And for the record, all of your favorite celebrities are not perfect either. That is called being human, making mistakes, making bad choices, and sometimes being dealt a bad hand. If you cannot leave a respectful comment or are tired of the media coverage, then go elsewhere, find something else to do.

Show respect to the man whose achievements and success could put every other recording artist to shame.

45. You're complaining about how much money CA is loosing over this, you're dumb as hell, think about all the people that have flown in from all over to be here for this funeral, are crazy, just the taxes alone have paid for this funeral idiot. Not to mention the celebrities that are renting out so much for parties later on this evening to celebrate him. Wake up people, There's nothing wrong with celebrating this ICON who definitely changed the way we all listen to music. And if anyone questions that, then your ass needs stop listen to music.
