Michael Jackson Memorial

Michael JacksonWe've learned Michael Jackson's body will not be going back to Forest Lawn.

The body will go somewhere else pending final burial -- we don't know where that is. If a casket goes to Forest Lawn, it's a decoy.

We've learned the death certificate lists Forest Lawn as the responsible mortuary because the body was embalmed there -- but the rest is being kept secret.

Michael's Memorial

After over two hours of speeches and songs, Michael Jackson's poignant and sad memorial service has come to an end. Check out some of the memorial highlights.

Jackson Death Certificate

We've obtained a copy of Michael Jackson's death certificate. On cause of death, it says "deferred."

It does say Forest Lawn Cemetery was a "temporary" disposition of the body. As we first reported the body will not go back to Forest Lawn. Final burial is pending at an unknown location.

Jackson's occupation is listed as "musician." The type of business is "entertainment." Years in occupation -- 45.

As for race, the word "black" is written.

The informant -- the person who gave the information for the death certificate -- is listed as La Toya Jackson.

The place of residence is not listed as the Holmby Hills home -- rather, it's listed as his parents' home in Encino.

Michael's Daughter: 'I Love Him So Much'

Michael Jackson's only daughter, 11-year-old Paris Michael Katherine, just gave an emotional speech at her father's memorial service -- saying he was the "best father you could ever imagine. I love him so much."

Jackson Chopper Contingency

Michael JacksonLaw enforcement tells us their contingency plan to get Michael Jackson from Forest Lawn to Staples Center has some danger associated with it.

L.A. City Fire Captain William Wick says if a processional on the freeway is too dicey, a fire dept. chopper will take Jackson's body to downtown L.A. But he says "I'm concerned for our pilot's safety," because of the 20 news choppers hovering around in a tight air space.

Capt. Wick says he's considering calling the FAA to restrict the airspace.

Again, the plan is to take Jackson's body by motorcade -- the helicopter plan is the contingency, but they're getting ready for it.

Motorcade Sponsored by Range Rover, Rolls

Motorcade Sponsored by Range RoverWe've learned the Range Rovers in the motorcade transporting Michael Jackson's family to Forest Lawn was handled by Land Rover Encino.

We're told last night at 10 PM 10 drivers pulled up to Encino Range Rover and picked up 10 vehicles -- a combo of regular and superchargers.

We also just found out O'Gara Coach Company in Bev Hills, and the dealership allowed the family to use 3 of its cars.

The dealership is not charging the Jackson family.

The vehicles will be returned tonight.

SWAT Team to Escort Jackson Body

Michael JacksonWe've just learned law enforcement has launched a plan to escort Michael Jackson's body from Forest Lawn to the Staples Center.

The plan calls for a "heavy motorcade" with the LAPD's SWAT team as part of the escort.

There is also a contingency plan to helicopter the body to Staples if there's an issue of safety.

We're also told approximately 100 people will attend the private memorial at Forest Lawn -- mostly family members. After the service the plan is to follow the body to Staples.

64. I feel sad for the haters out there. He was a very talented guy...as for the people who believe he was a molester, I don't believe it. Inocent stars pay people off everyday to keep their name out of the lime light....first, the mother of the boy was found that this wasn't the first time she tried to sue someone for money, PLUS she was caught stealing in JC Penneys, both times coached her son to lie, (I am sad for him)....any mother who cared about her son would not only sue, but would NEVER drop a case for money. She would have went the full extent of the law to put him in jail...but what happens? As soon as money can be collected, she drops everything.....
We will miss you Michael......your comeback would have been great......I am the same age, 50 and remember all so well when ABC came out, then when my daughter was a teenager, she loved Michael Jackson music, so now I was waiting for the next generation to love him......

65. "I myself can think of alot of better uses for my money than to pay tribute to a has-been "

JSKITTY, are you freakin' kidding me. The fact that there is constant coverage on Mr. Jackson going on TMZ, all across America, and literally THE ENTIRE PLANET, makes your comment on him being a "has-been", very, very stupid. I actually respect your opinion on taxpayers' dollars being spent in a better way. However, to deny MJ his legendary status-which is not just a matter of opinion any longer-is just ignorant. Calling Michael Jackson a has been is an oxymoron. This was even the case while he was alive, but some people chose to negate his contributions to the world of music and his humantitarian efforts, because of his very public negative press: personal dealings that most of us would be enraged about if others judged us unfairly on. The fact of the matter is that you did NOT know him, so why judge him on his personal life. However, you do know what he did professionally. JSKITTY, I wonder will people mourn you the way the world at large now mourns this man. The fact that EVERY major outlet is trained and focused on MJ on this day, should say something to you, whether you liked him or not. Industries that crucified him, now rely upon him for ratings! How shameful.

66. The saddest part to me is the photo of the elephants walking in the street. Circus animals live a horrible life!!! They are forced into performing unnatural acts for people's pleasure! They are beaten and abused to make them learn tricks. When not performing they are chained at the legs for days at a time! Elephants are social animals who mourn when other elephants die and this is the way they are treated?? If you must take your kids to the circus only go to a cicrus that uses human performers not animals!

67. The Morons come out of the woodwork to honor a child molester, it's a sad state that America has sunk this low.

68. It amazes me that we honor a pedophile intravenous drug user who is depicted wearing sergeant stripes and ammo belts on the 4th of July but we completely ignore the brave men and woman who actually fought for our freedom and safty of our children.

69. When was the last time any one of you attended a funeral and posed with a happy smile for the camera? Get off it, folks, this is just another day in Hollywood area for these crazy celebrities to show off their faces for the camera. Give me a break -- and to the writer who said the city didn't have to pay for the funeral -- try having this funeral without police protection -- MJ's corpse would be emptied from the casket and thrown to the masses for souvenirs because, like it or not, these "fans" are not normal or civil behaving folks. And the family did NOT have to have a memorial -- they could have had a private affair and placed him in the ground but they wanted the likes of Sharpton and celebs there. Absolutely disgusting!!!! The man was a jerk and was known as wacko jacko by everyone, including these folks who are memorializing him today. Bunch of b.s.

70. Give me a break ! Enough is enough already. No drug addicted, sociopolitical, child molester deserves all of this, no matter what he achieved musically. What's next? This kind of hoopla when OJ dies?

72. So many people need to wake up on the NJ thing. While he was a great music talent and could sing and damce his ass off. As a person he was a still a very troulbed little boy inside. I to grew up on his music and enjoed all his many MTV videos amd dance moves.

Only in America are you shown so much public knowledge when you die. The state sent out IOU's to the hard working people of the state that need the refunds just to buy food. While MJ pissed away a forune buying monkes and buying his childeren and paying off little boys paernt 25 million. His family is all wierd as hell Janet has millions let her ass pay for the funeral or cremate his ass.

Or soldiers die honoring their country and his dum ass gets the cirus of a funeral...... Get a life people Iam sad to say Ifor one hope his pathoic life gets forgotten ASAP!

74. RIP Jackson. But he was a pedophile and if he was innocent why did he make the cash settlement?

Posted at 1:26PM on Jul 7th 2009 by Citizen

75. Sad... sad... how can you even say that MJ was a child molester etc. when our the law say, you have to be presume innocent until proven otherwise.. he was never convicted, i not MJ fan but I beleive in the system of the law no matter what the person is doing if he or she was proven innocent in the eyes of the law then he is not convicted, those kids just lost a father no matter. a lot of fathers dont even care about their kids at all, so please spare the kids,. and the guy is dead have a compassion.. oh my god where are you hearts..
