The Big Ragoo Busted for DUI

Carmine The Big Ragoo Ragusa The guy who played Carmine "The Big Ragoo" Ragusa on "Laverne and Shirley" was arrested last Friday in Las Vegas after he allegedly got into a drunken car crash.

Law enforcement sources tell us they received a call at around 12:30 PM about a collision with a "suspected drunk driver." When officers arrived, they found Eddie Mekka and administered field sobriety tests.

After the tests, Mekka was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence -- a misdemeanor. As for the accident, we don't know any details, but we do know there were no injuries reported at the scene.

32. Ive worked with this guy a number of times. Im not lying when I say he was drunk every single time. It was always amusing to watch his performace go downhill as the day progressed and he drank more in his trailer.

38. This guy is a douche. I worked around him once as well. I never spoke to him though. He appeared very drunk and was hitting on everyone.
Making all kinds of obscene comments. Drunk at 12:30pm that sums this has been up.

40. i also worked with mr mekka he used my car for a lo buck movie.. my 11 yr old son was in the moviealso.. he was tipsy mort than a few times after a day of shooting i picked up my car to finde 3 jd bottles empty in the front seat pocket.. all in all he is a really nice guy but i thenk he dose need help..he never did say anything obsene in front of my son but i didnotice he was always looking for the ladies.. not the carmine from the 70s
