This breaks my heart to know what kind of people actually attended
MJ's memorial. Nothing but the visions of a dollar sign. People were
taking programs by the dozens.. I am a BIG fan who was not chosen to
attend & would love to have a program.. I was curious and looked on
ebay to find nothing but disgust. One guy was actually asking
10,000... If there is a kind soul out there that happens to have an
extra one willing to share I would be so very thankful .. Rest in
peace Michael. Long live the KING OF POP!!

62. R.I.P. Michael Jackson. I wish that people would show more respect to him on the day of his burial. Some of the comments made are utterly inappropriate; if you don't like Michael Jackson, his legacy or the media coverage, then blog, watch, or read something else. The man is dead; despite his issues that are constantly being brought up, respect the deceased and his family and kids during this time. Let him have the peace he deserves and if he was wrong in life, LET GOD JUDGE HIM...The courts acquitted him, let it GO! If he were a child molester, he wouldn't have kept his own kids--social services would have seen to that.
My prayers are with the family of Michael Jackson..

63. I find it quite telling that the Jackson family approved each photo in this program and none include his image in the last several years.

I hope you guys can intergrate this into your analysis, as I have heard many media reports refer to Motown, not knowing about the significance of Gary's Steeltown records who gave The Jackson their first contract after originally being denied twice by Motown. I think Don Lemon did a piece on this and may still have the audio of "Big Boy" and this actual beginning of Michael's legacy

WILL MICHAEL JACKSON AND THE JACKSONS FIRST MANAGER AND RECORD LABEL IN GARY, INDIANA PROFIT FROM THE HISTORIC INTERNATIONAL DEMANDS FOR MICHAEL AND THE JACKSON'S MUSIC?

Since the death of Michael Jackson, mainstream media from across the world has reported the historic number of record sales from fans across the world seeking Michael Jackson and The Jacksons music, but what about Gary, Indiana's Gordon Keith, the groups first manager and owner of the record label that produced "Big Boy," Michael and The Jackson Five's very first hit recording before they signed with Motown.? Who will profit from the commercial sale of the song "Big Boy" as more and more of the world become familiar with the song that put Michael Jackson on the market before MOTOWN?

For many years, moat people chronicled Michael Jackson and The Jackson family career with MOTOWN, but in recent years and now, more and more media are reporting and airing the song "Big Boy," but bootleggers are selling the song on the inner city streets, but no one has yet surfaced from any major commercial entity that can legally reproduce the song for commercial sale. Is this an opportunity for Keith to finally be able to cash in on the success of the group that he managed and produced before the world even knew Michael and The Jacksons names? Can the marketing and sale of "Big Boy" be done through the new record label and distribution company being started by Joe Jackson and Marshall Thompson of The Chi-Lites?

Can Gordon Keith receive the financing necessary to properly market the sales of Michael Jackson's first hit recording? Is it fair to watch so many others making millions of dollars on the sale of Michael and The Jacksons music and it does not provide a vehicle for Keith to profit as well. !! As we approach the memorial of Michael Jackson on Tuesday, there is much discussion about properly preserving the legacy of Michael Jackson and his music, so the marketing and sales of "Big Boy" should not be left in the current hands of bootleggers, BUT a legal entity that should not exclude Gary, Indiana's Gordon Keith, the first manager of Michael and The Jacksons, and owner of the now defunct Steeltown Record label that put Michael and The Jacksons on the map with their very first releases "Big Boy" and "You've Changed."

Reuters Pictures 1 week ago
Gordon Keith, founder of Steeltown Records, pauses outside the childhood home of pop star Michael Jackson in Gary, Indiana June 26, 2009. Steeltown Records, under Keith, is known as the label that first signed the Jackson 5 in 1967 to record several songs, including "Big Boy".

Today, the song "Big Boy" is one of the most popular songs of oldies and steppers parties. But it has become popular on underground CD's and not marketed nationally as a legitimate CD to be bought in record stores or other venues that market recording artists. With this historic rise in Michael Jackson and Jackson Five music, it seems appropriate that people like Keith should be able to profit from the millions of dollars being made as the one who put The Jackson's on the map with the help of Chicago's historic radio station WVON and local DJ's, long before MOTOWN and the rest of the world knew Michael and The Jacksons even existed.

Maybe this is an effort that can be marketed and distributed through Joe Jackson's new record label.

71. Just as Marlon said at the memorial service, I say so too, that now Michael will be left alone by those who ridiculed him, those who hurt him, those who caused pain and rejection to him.Michael is now free from all that. How many of us can overcome all that he endured without wavering? It's very easy to judge others when we have not encountered what others have gone through.Michael was great, he was a hero because he didn't complain, he suffered silently and let people believe what they wanted to believe. He is now at rest. After all the hussle and bussle he got from this world he is now at peace.Maybe now they will leave him in peace as he is no longer in their reach. Before we pass away from this world, let's carry on Michael's wealth legacy of changing this world into a better place for all of us.Michael you will live forever in my heart because I want to speak about love, sharing and caring among us human beings.Rest Michael, you deserve peace after all that.

72. I thought that his memorial was very touching, what a great job they did in such a short time. It was so touching when his daughter spoke about her father, and thats why i hope the media quit slashing him. I wish they would sell the memorial programs cause i would buy several of them rest in peace and now you are not being tormented like you were here you now are an angel in heaven my deepest sympathy to his children and family tina

73. This is not the official MJ Memorial Service program. I attended the service and the one that was shown
on CNN is the official program and it was FREE. I had asked several of the Staples Center employees if there were other
official items sold while I was there and they stated "NO!" The person(s) selling this program book is profiting off a tragedy
and TMZ reporters should report this to the Jackson family attorney. Don't buy it if you see it on EBAY. Harvy Levin you're an attorney/lawyer do something about it since you have inside contact with Jackson sources.

74. All of you who want the programme...it has been placed on Scribd and can be downloaded free of charge.

This was made possible by Michael's beloved mother, Mrs Katherine Jackson. I thank the family and especially Michael's mother for this very thoughtful, sweet gesture. This has given us something to hold onto and to keep forever.

The world has lost a very special, unique, wonderful person...I am devastated with the rest of his loving fans.
We could all learn something from Michael...

75. Truly don't understand why people are overlooking the fact that mj was murdered. Soon as I heard that mj was dead, I went into shock. However, i was not long that I knew he was murdered due to drugs, Send many e-mails but noone responsed. Now it's being reported he was murdered why some are still saying it was an accident. Come on TMZ dig and find the truth. Last night they show Joseph Jackson on an inerview. The host was upset when Jackson said the best way to find the person who killed him is to follow the money. That statement is true. Others are going to be expose, mainly because they did not received their full payment. The name Watson keeps coming to me. Who is Watson. TMZ don't let us down find and expose everyone. The ones who kept him on drugs and divided him from the family. Whos been visiting in the middle of the night and leaves before daylight. Come on over look the small things and forcus on the big hidden things
