ABC Loses Kate Walsh Court Battle

Kate Walsh Court BattleABC televison was shot down in court today by the estranged hubby of Kate Walsh.

The judge ruled Alex Young can make ABC Prez Stephen McPherson sit for a deposition, and answer all sorts of questions about Walsh's financial prospects at ABC -- pilots, development deals, etc.

Walsh and Young were only together as husband and wife for 14 months, but it's turning into one of the most bitter divorces in Hollywood.

ABC claims Young is harassing her and ABC and the motive is $$$.

And here's the best quote from the ABC lawyer: "It's as if Manny Ramirez was getting divorced and the first deposition they want to take is the president of ESPN."

The judge disagreed, so now Young's lawyer can grill the ABC honcho.

17. Hotdog On A Stick - it's not about half, he's after info about future deals. Sounds like Kate Walsh signed a megabucks deal with ABC and he wants a slice of it. Given his reputation in the industry as a control freak/suckup I'm not the least bit surprised. Given she's already applied for a court date to let them rule, he can't delay it with these stalling tactics much longer.

20. I gotta tell ya, white people are a trip. 14 months of marriage and I want your entire bank account, any homes you have earned and any money you might earn in the future. You know, almost every other race on this earth spend their entire lives trying to figure out how to get into heaven. White people spend their entire lives trying to figure out how to get into your wallet. They have proven one thing about the bible though, that is completely illrefutable. 21. As so often happens in women's lives, the older they get, the quicker they feel the need to be "whole" and marry somoeone they hardly know. There are a lot of pretty boys/handsome men out there who are well-trained and eager in the pursuit of older women who in turn are blinded by the looks and attention of these men. A grown woman such as Kate Walsh (40 years old) should've known better. It appears that she didn't take the appropriate steps regarding her assets, and unfortunately, she'll be paying for her mistakes in the foreseable future.

Kate Walsh has worked hard for all that she has today and for Young to just steal it all away from her is ridiculous, what has he done to deserve her hard earned cash? I feel sorry for all of you if you have to express hate like that for someone you don't even know. Poor Kate is going through a difficult time and I wish her all the best. x

24. to everyone who says/thinks he's desperate for money or a loser or blah blah...it's NOT about the money. I think he just wants to stick it to the loose wh*re for cheating on him after less than a year of marriage. it's all about principle and I for one hope he takes her skank ass to the cleaners.

I don't care if he's a gold digger or not, when someone messes with another's emotions then they deserve whatever they get. she's lucky she didn't end up like McNair, LOL. here in Cali you are entitled to half of everything acquired DURING the marriage. she knew this, got married, didn't sign a prenup and then went and cheated DUMBASS...everything she gets will be a direct result of her own stupidity.

I don't think he's a gold digger because he has his own money, and even if he is a gold digger SO WHAT? she messed with his head and his emotions...when you mess with someone's emotions you deserve what you get...just look at McNair, she's lucky she didn't end up like that. furthermore, here in California in a divorce you split everything that was acquired DURING the marriage 50/50...she knew this and didn't get a prenup signed, then she acted even more stupid and went and f*cked around on him after not even being married for a year...that's her bad. whatever she gets will be a direct result of HER stupid actions. I don't feel bad for her. sorry.
