During his 2005 trial a forensic accountant said he was spending between $20million and $30million a year more than he earned. Let's not forget his daily drug intake - Demerol, Vistaril, Dilaudid, Xanax, Prozac, and Zoloft. Why do fans continue to look the other way? It's time to recognize this guy for what he was. He made little contribution beyond a "gifted" pop artist, uncomfortable in his own skin and a drug addicted pedophile. It's funny how MJ's family is so quick to point the finger at all of these Doctors, it's obvious they all knew about his drug addiction and did nothing about it...No intervention, no calls reporting these suspicions of the DR's prescribing MJ these drugs. HIS FAMILY IS TO BLAME AS MUCH AS ANYBODY...sounds to me that the Jackson Family is out for the almighty dollar, going after the deep pockets. pathetic

Yes, do agree that docs should have not scripted excessive medications, but as far as i know, did not force feed the drugs to him, or did they???????????????

Where was his family before he died?????Why didn't they care enough to do this before it was to late????And all his so called friends???His family claims they didn't know he was doing drugs????If they were so close as they say, then why didn't one f them spot the track marks????They knew they just buried their heads to it, and figured since his drug source was a cardiologist and that he was paid to watch Michael sleep, come on. 158. Thank God this pedophile died a slow and painful death, the same one he subjected dozens of innocent children to. Like any other addict, nobody forced ever MJ to shoot up and he had more than enough more for the best rehab clinics in the world had he wanted to quit. Rest in hell you monster.

160. I feel that Michael Jackson’s death may have been prevented if his family members called public attention to his drug problem. In the article Speakin’ Out News, titled Jackson family tried intervention on Michael, it says that his family has tried since 2006 to help Michael. They say that Tito and some of his sisters tired an intervention at Jacksons Las Vegas home, but “Michael got pissed off. He said he wasn’t on drugs.” Sources close to the singers entourage tell Britain’s the Sun that he was injected three times a day with Demerol-the potent painkiller given to him before his collapse,” that turned into his death.
Why didn’t his family bring it to the public? The show Intervention proves that most people who have been ousted by their family for their addictions, get professional help and change. The difference with this kind of intervention and the one Jacksons siblings tried, was that it usually is the whole family who comes together to show support for the addict. I know that the only person who could’ve changed Jackson was Jackson. But I honestly feel that Jackson still would be here if his family answered his cry!
