With all due respect, why is it that "young black men" always seem to need good role models to teach them the basics:

Gangs and membership in gangs are "bad"?
Familial responsibility and honoring your commitments is "good"?
Drugs are "bad"?
Fiscal responsibility is "good"?

These are BASIC values, tried, tested, and TRUE regardless of race, color, creed, sex or religion. If "young black men" SPECIFICALLY need role models in order to "teach" them these truisms which EVERYONE ELSE seems to be EXPECTED to know as basic principles, then I'd say there's a HELLUVA lot more to be concerned about than the much whined about lack of "positive" role models for "young black men".

How f'd up does a 20 year old skank have to be to think her life was "spiraling out of control" simply because she was going to possibly face dating normal dweebs like Kieth Norfleet again instead of getting the thick black schlong from an athlete? I mean, geez, she had a nice little ride, she went on some vacations, she partied, she got some nice wheels...any good prostitute should know that you move on develop other clients. I think this woman may have had some deep psychological trauma left over from dealing with her parents being murdered in Iran, some serious abandonment issues if Steve was going to pull the plug.

72. I am so distressed about the way how this situation has been handled by the public. Yes....he did commit adultery but was it him who crucified Christ? NO!!! We need to be kinder in making comments because for God's sake this man had a family, he was just doing the typical things that MOST MEN do. Its very sad that he got involved with this person who thought the only way out was to take the woman's husband with her. She apparently told herself that if she cannot get him, no one else can. Its tragic, because the man had a family. Sadly, a lot of those Iranians they do not put much value on life and lets not forget she is one. Mrs. McNair is certainly not the first person or the last that this will happen to. The same thing happened to my best friend! Her fiance claimed that he has been sleeping at his mom some nights but turned up dead at his supposedly ex girlfriend's house. The reality is that men are men and we are all sinners. We do things that we are not suppose to do. Mrs.McNair, I am sorry that this happened because I know that this is embarassing. Whatever it is, Steve was a great guy. Like so many successful Men before him, Steve indulged himself in the luxury of beautiful women that his status & wealth afforded him. Former Presidents Bill Clinton ,John F. Kennedy, Former NY Governor Elliot Spitzer, or disgraced South Carolina governor Mark Sanford are all examples of this deeply entrenched behavior pattern. However, None of these aforementioned Men was killed by their mistresses. Steve McNair DESERVED TO LIVE, despite his extramarrital activities. Cheating is NOT A CRIME, and it amazes me how HYPOCRITICAL & JUDGEMENTAL all of you AVERAGE JOE's are. 75. The scary part about this situation is that he is more than likely in HELL. From what I've read and learned about the Bible being in a situation as he and being unable to ask for forgiveness or repent. It looks like he and that girl both may not be in a bad place right now. Unfortunately, I wonder why God allowed her to shoot and kill him, maybe he was given opportunities to stop his behavior but would not (I don't know). I just know God could have prevented her from killing him if he wanted to.
