The Justin Timberlake movie "Alpha Dog" finally has an ending ... the guy it was based on was just convicted of the kidnap and murder of the kid who died in the movie. 
Today a jury decided Jesse James Hollywood was the mastermind behind 15-year-old Nicholas Markowitz's death, which happened in West Hills, CA back in August of 2000. He was convicted of first-degree murder and kidnapping.
Hollywood could get the death penalty.

47. Hopefully he will be convicted and sentenced to death. The penalty should be death by firing squad with the parents of Nick Markowitz pulling the trigger.

49. To Lanie, Thanks for the information about Nick's brother. There were so many characters in the film maybe I got the names all wrong. In any event, we can all agree that there is no justification for a lot of what happens in this world, especially murder. But in re-telling the event and saying what happened, it is perfectlty OK to say
THESE EVENTS HAPPENED BECAUSE OF THIS AND THAT.
Saying what happened does not equat to justifying what happend. The reality in this case was that drugs were involved (let me make some happy here, drugs are bad)
Then they kidnapped the victim to extract money (kidnapping is bad)
Then feeling cornered, he and friends committed murdered (killing is bad)
There is intent and then there is pre-meditation. According to these events, he intended to blackmail the brother for money owed and his crazy plan spiraled into murder. Stating how it went down does not mean giving an excuse for the perpetrator. Using your logic, we nobody can talk about things.
