Lil Wayne Sued Over Sleepiness

Lil Wayne Sued Over Sleepiness It certainly would have been cheaper to buy an alarm clock. Lil Wayne is being sued for nearly half-a-million bucks for sleeping when he should have been performing.

Red City Entertainment claims it fronted $432,000 for a Wayne concert appearance in the Bahamas. On September 27, 2008, there were plenty of lights and cameras... but no action, because Wayne was passed out in his hotel room. When he didn't show for the performance, cops went to his hotel and found him unconscious.

In the lawsuit filed today, Red City claims it gave Wayne a $210,000 advance. The balance is for his hotel expenses and various costs involved in throwing the failed concert.

Calls to Lil Wayne's rep were not returned.

35. WOW!! Its amazing how many HATERS post to this site. I'm sure just about everyone of you who spewed your dislike of Lil Wayne...probably have every single song he has ever made downloaded to your I-Pods. 37. The people that work for him should get him some help with his opiate addiction (HEROIN). Heroin is no joke. People overdose all the time. I think he's talented and needs help with his drug problem. I hope he realizes this himself, before its too late.

First of all he is not an amature drug user.. hes pretty hardcore, second he is not worthless he has made over one million songs so suck on dat and sold over a million albums in a week... which other artist has done this recently?... third stop hatin on a neeegur he can miss as many concerts as he pleases you think he doesnt have 500 k .... he has one million dollars under his bed just for the heck of it..and if he was worthless he wouldnt be a future billionaire bitches so stop talking so much crap ppl.
