Former Warrant Singer Charged with DUI

Warrent Singer Jani Lane We've learned the ex-front man for the 80's hairband Warrant -- Jani Lane -- was officially charged with DUI and hit-and-run.

The 45-year-old singer was busted on June 17th when he allegedly hit a parked car in Los Angeles. Lane refused to take a sobriety test.

If convicted, Lane could get 6 months in the slammer and a $1,000 fine.

He's set to be arraigned today.

Jani, I know you ere a big rock star at one time. But you're not anymore. Ditch the Eyeliner and grow up, Smudgy liner does not enhance a mug shot.

I feel so bad for Jani... He is going through a tough time right now and alls people want to do is be cruel... Everyone just needs to give him his space and let him work out his problems. He still rocks and he will always!!!

I loved Jani Lane, he is a very talented man however....he needs desperate help. Maybe a rehab sting or maybe the 6 months in jail would do him some good. Whatever it takes. Good luck Jani.

Jani has struggled with this disease for a long time. You are in my Prayers and thoughts that you can get well. I saw a receny clip of him recently and he looked clean and well.
