Former Warrant Singer Charged with DUI

Warrent Singer Jani Lane We've learned the ex-front man for the 80's hairband Warrant -- Jani Lane -- was officially charged with DUI and hit-and-run.

The 45-year-old singer was busted on June 17th when he allegedly hit a parked car in Los Angeles. Lane refused to take a sobriety test.

If convicted, Lane could get 6 months in the slammer and a $1,000 fine.

He's set to be arraigned today.

16. LOL...I just saw him on VH1's RockDocs talking about how he was "20 years sober" - I guess he fell off the wagon! For jail: "He's my cherry pie!"

17. If he does 1 day in jail it is because he is NOT a Black athlete. Stallworth and some hood from the Denver Nuggets have KILLED people and they both are doing less time than this guy could get. Our country is turning into a F in joke.

18. Jani has struggled with this disease for a long time. You are in my Prayers and thoughts that you can get well. I saw a receny clip of him recently and he looked clean and well.

19. Aw HELL! back in the day, he was on my fantasy list!! DUI's happen, fact of life sadly- but those gacker bite marks on the bottom lip sez he never quite got done with 1980-something! (P.S.) LOVE the eye liner!! Works for Bret...
