Jackson Self-Injecting Demerol, Doctor Says

Michael Jackson Self-Injecting Demerol, A doctor who treated Michael Jackson claimed the singer self-injected Demerol into his system.

We've combed through tens of thousands of pages of the official file for the 2005 molestation trial. In the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's notes, a member of Jackson's security detail -- retired L.A. County Sheriff's deputy Michael Laperruque -- said some doctors were trying to get Jackson off of Demerol, and that one of the doctor's in Santa Barbara "was upset with JACKSON because he had been self-injecting."

Laperruque told detectives he had picked up Jackson's prescriptions for the singer, usually under the name Chris Carter. Carter was one of Jackson's bodyguards.

Laperruque also told detectives one time when he was at Neverland his job was to keep Jackson's family out because they were planning an intervention.

31. This was reported to law enforcement in 2003 when the raid occured at Neverland. Why were these docs and MJ not investigated and charged back then? I just do not get how so many people allowed these docs to get away with prescribing all of these drugs when it was well documented. Jackson should never have had children, he was in no condition to take care of them. I feel sorry for them having a strung out stange father and a mother who gave them up for money.

33. I don't belive in this, It's sad that TMZ is bashing Micheal in every possible way. Stop it already!. It's perfectly clear from the rehearsal videos nothing wrong was with Micheal!. And how about to infrom us s,omething about his unrealesed songs?, Something about his children?.

35. Since the Memorial it seems that we have not heard one word about anything other than the drugs and custody. What happened to all this praise about his talent and his music. The drugs are really disturbing. Injecting himself when he was so terrified of needles, yes. But really not that surprizing. The man was on drugs. Bigtime. It's very sad but a fact and there is nothing they can do to hide it. Why didn't they try harder to save him when he was still alive?

37. If I lived in LA, I would be a little concerned about the slow response of the DA's office in bringing charges forth. It's as if the discovery of the distribution of these extremly dangerous narcotics is more common to the authorities than we realize. why haven't they charged 1 person in a crime yet? I have seen enough evidence myself to conclude that NUMEROUS crimes have been commited by these enablers. An investigation should not take this long.

40. How sad! I wish the family would've forced the intervention like they did for Britney Spears! He'd probably still be alive today if they had, but they wanted to keep it a secret. At least Michael is in peace now with God.

This is so sad. MJ must have really been tormented. You'd think he'd stop the drugs for his children's sake...but I guess the addiction was stronger than his parental responsibility.
I wonder why the family didn't call CPS since they knew of his living conditions and drug problems. Someone should have been more forceful in intervening.
RIP MJ and may God bless his children. I'm sure this is tramatic for them.

Hey... Do you guys think that Michael wanted to die...and this was perhaps an assisted suicide? Just a thought....
