48. So if they where trying to get him off of it??? who was writing the prescriptions for it?? He had to get it someplace to inject it himself...Next they will be telling us MJ had stolen the prescription pads and was writing his own. All these doctors and the phars that have him owing thousands of dollars for meds in one year... please, we are not stupid people. No one has a bill like that unless something is wrong and it was their duty to report it and not fill them.

49. To the person that said to watch Martin Bashir interview- No go watch Maury Povich that showed Martin Bashir interviewe and Michael Jackson same interview- Martin Bashir did not show the truth. Michael Jackson had camera rolling at the same time during Martin Bashir interview. I would not watch nothing Martin Bashir showed anymore- He does not show the truth- only what he wants people to believe. I am glad Michael Jackson had camer rolling the sametime or the truth about Martin Bashir would not have been known. Micheal Jackson was a nice person.

50. it seems there was a long term drug problem,the family tried to help as reported,this is a grown 50 year old and no one forced these drugs on him,he took them on his own,why not take lunesta or ambien and go to bed instead of these deadly drugs,without these kids in his life maybe he would have been had a even shorter lfe.

55. This guy was one sick puppy. Isn't there really anybody else on this planet for the latest "lost generation" to look up to?
Does musical talent outweigh everything? If that's the case, this planet is doomed. Be afraid America, be very afraid. The people who fought and died for this country sure as hell didn't fight for this ideal. And it will sink us on a planet filled with ambitious and centered new players.

He paid parents of kids he molested to shut up and go away. That's a fact.
He was a mainline, self-medicating junkie using fake names to buy drugs.
Anybody else goes to prison for that (many are there right now)

All I can see is LA got stuck with a big bill and that is being passed on to the beaten down taxpayers. Many of whom, like me,
and while respectful of anyone who passes away, thinks a rich family or a concert promoter should be footing the bill.

57. Damn this is sad. No one could help him, he made it worse by shutting out those who cared the most and surrounding himself with yes-men who would give him anything he wanted even if it killed him. There might be some good to come from this investigation, shining a light on dr. shopping and enabling because you know he's not the only celebrity doing this. Nail ALL the doctors who contributed his addiction and death. I feel SOOOO bad for those poor kids!! I hope they can somehow heal and move forward and NOT get totally messed up themselves. I already worry what will happen to them in their teens, kids please resist drugs and the celeb lifestyle it's deadly! Despite all of this bad news coming out we can't forget the genius and talent of MJ in his prime- no one can take that away and he leaves that legacy forever! RIP

58. It has been common knowledge that MJ was a drug-addict for many years.
In his last public appearance in the UK when he announced the O2 concerts he was as high as a kite. He couldnt even speak properly - listen when he slurs "shows uh performances"
AEG Were stupid to hire him in the state he was in (or were they???)
I think the whole tour thing was a scam and I think that one day the truth will be told about it.

If MJ had cried off after one or two shows and bombed, which was a distinct possibility then nothing would have been selling as it is now. All the people he owed money to would never have been repaid.
Due to the sad fact that he ended up dead just before the tour has guaranteed that his music is making money again.
There is a lot more to MJs death than a drug addict taking too many drugs IMO
Forget blaming the Doctors - look elsewhere IMO

59. not so fast TMZ....demerol has to be administered by someone else continuously , once its stop the person wake up inmediatelly...this drug does not makes you sleep, it puts your brain on a coma and that is why you need oxigen and your vital signs to be monitored...i dont think michael could have been administering the drug to himself all night long
