Jackson Used Employees' Names to Score Drugs

Michael Jackson went to a variety of doctors to get strong narcotics and used multiple aliases (including the names of several employees), this according to notes compiled during the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's investigation back in 2004.

Sheriff's detectives interviewed Chris Carter, who worked as Jackson's bodyguard prior to the Sheriff's raid of Jackson's home in 2003. According to Sheriff's Department notes obtained by TMZ, Carter said he would get Xanax prescriptions for Jackson under various fictitious names. Carter told detectives that Jackson would even use his name and the names of other employees to score prescriptions.

In addition to using his name, Carter said Jackson would use the names of Frank Tyson (a Jackson employee who was a prominent figure in the molestation trial, having had numerous contacts with the accuser's family), Jesus Salas (Ranch manager) and Joe Marcus (another Jackson employee) to get prescriptions.

Various pill bottles were found at Jackson's Neverland Ranch. One bottle of Alprazolam (generic for Xanax) was prescribed for Frank Tyson by Dr. Arnold Klein. A bottle of Prednisone found at the Ranch was also prescribed by Dr. Klein in the name of Peter Midani.

A bottle of Percocet, a narcotic painkiller, was found with the name Michael Armstrong, prescribed by Dr. Gerald Labiner.

A bottle of ERY-TAB, an antibiotic, was found with the name "M,M." The prescribing doctor was Dr. Carey Logan from Las Vegas.

A prescription receipt from a pharmacy was found for Alprazolam (generic Xanax) and written for Frank Tyson by Dr. William VanValin. Another receipt from Dr. VanValin was for written for Xanax in the name of Manuel Rivera.

31. Why are you tearing him apart now? The only people you are hurting by publishing this unsubstantiated claim, are his kids. (His toxin screen isn't back yet, so you know nothing for sure and he's not here to defend himself). He was legally aquitted of any crime, so quit bringing it up. This guy was a little different but so are many highly intelligent people. He was brilliant, generous and he loved his kids, leave it at that.

33. The real question is why didnt anyone in his inner circle do anything to help the guy even if it meant refusing him to use their name for the prescriptions?

34. Addicts will use any means possible to get their fix, I did. Addicts have lied, cheated, stolen, resorted to murder, whatever it takes to get your fix you will do and keep doing to get high, escape and have your way or go the way of your addiction. The addiction is very powerful, it keeps calling out, more, more, more, you never get enough especially if you have the financial resources and enablers like M.J. had. The best scenerio for any addict and I know many have thought about this, hae all the money you need, all the enablers, the security to keep the truth and love out of your life like M.J. did, keep going until your dead like M.J. I was truly blessed when I got sober some (34) years ago, there was no one left in my life to enable me, my parents gave up and disowned me, no friends left, no money, and I was facing two counts of attempted murder to bbot. Two ways left for me, go to jail or get sober fortunately I chose to get sober, go to treatment. Thank GOD. I wish M.J. had found his bottom, so many do not and die amiserable, tortured death, no one can possibly imagine that kind of isolation and addiction, it is truly hell on earth. There is HOPE, you can get FREE, SOBER, STRAIGHT, especially when you become aware of what you are doing to yourself and others. I equate this entire process to the title of my book, "MY MIND HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN,"

36. I'm not buying this crap that Michael was a drug addict. Yes, therewere significant periods in his life when he became dependant on painmedications. Those were during the most stressful periods of his lifestarting with that 1993 child abuse investigation in addition toMichael starting his tour in Thailand. And probably again in duringthe 2005 trial when he was in alot of physical, psychological andemotional turmoil. But this nonsense that he was basically apill-popping junkie is just that----nonsense. Why do I say that?Because how can a regularly drug addict be lucid enough to be theexcellent, hands-on father that many people say that he was? Howcould he be such a father if he was strung out on drugs? Also peoplefrom Lou Ferrigno to others who saw or talked to Michael days, weeksand even month or two before he died, said Michael was in top shapeand was excited and animated and pumped up for these O2 shows. All ofthe dancers and singers who rehearsed with him said he was in goodshape, confident and in good spirits and there were no signs of himbeing 'high' or 'out of it'.All people close to him said he wasstrong and happy. And how could Michael Jackson pass all the physical tests by AEG in order to do these shows? He passed all histest. IF he indeed was taking all these pills, how come he passed histests? This drug addict angle is being pushed way too far.

37. That's illegal and they should be arrested. Those Dr.'s have no ethics, in my opinion, and they probably aren't diagnosing their current patients properly. They seem greedy too. I good Dr. would have turned him away.

38. WOW! a junkie AND a child molester. and you idiots out there is all in mourning over this freak. what a fu**ed up world. had this been an average joe, folks would have been screaming for his head over the molestation charges and the judge would have locked him up for years for all the illegally gotten narcotics.

give your head a shake people! its ridiculous the way everyone is freaking out over his death. cheers to o'reily and the senator for telling it like it REALLY is!

41. People plz. The man died. How do you think his children will react or/and feel if they see all the comments and suspicions about their dad. Because let's not forget he was a dad first of all and jobwise he was the best entertainer ever. Plz let's keep everything in perspective and let's not feed the vultures. And as far as the "news" value of this article is concerned, where is the "news" in it ?

42. So again the question is . . . why didn't authorities take action? Must of been paid off so not only do the doctors have to be invstigated or punished but law enforcement has to be investigated as they dropped the ball. So, what do any of them have to say for themselves. THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DISGUSTING. Not one? You mean to tell me not one person surrounding this man could have gone to the authorities? THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS.

43. I take that back . .. even if they went to the authorities NOTHING would be done as NOTHING was done. My God this evidence existed six years ago . . . there is a network of coverup.

44. #29. Like it or not, MJ WAS an addict. A self admitted one at that. Just because he used prescription drugs to help ease his pain (I read some where a long time ago that he also had injured a vertebrate?), both physical and emotional doesn't mean that he could not function as a human being. Or as a father.

#18. I don't see the date that the prescription on the left was from 2003, I do however see that both prescription labels have a DISCARD by date in 2003. That's typical. Normally prescription meds have a one year life span, even penicillan, meaning, throw them away after that because they aren't any good and aren't going to have the effect as when they were first prescribed.

#27, Aside from plugging your book, you made some very valid points and congrats to you on your sobriety.

#26 Yes, it is an F*d up world. It was long before MJ passed. I don't believe the molestation charges, but that's up to me whether or not I choose to believe it. And, you're right, someone with that many narcotics would most definitely be in trouble. But, the Judge would not necessarily lock them up, he might have ordered him to treatment. You'll have to discuss that with the LAPD though, they are the ones that confiscated all of those drugs from his house. Go figure.

#30. I agree, but I believe that Klein (does it look like he had a little uplift surgery above his eyes or is it just me?) said he prescribed those medications for MJ after procedures he had?

Posted at 9:32AM on Jul 10th 2009 by Jstbtrflyz

45. Can someone please answer this for me:
If these employees knowingly let MJ get the meds in their names and they were aware of the addiction, can they be charged in some way?
