Jackson Seemed High After Leaving Docs

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson used to leave the offices of various doctors looking "out of it," according to a former bodyguard who was interviewed by detectives during the 2004 child molestation investigation.

Chris Carter, a former Jackson bodyguard, was interviewed by detectives from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department. Carter told detectives he would drive Jackson to doctors' offices in New York, Florida and California. The Sheriff's documents, obtained by TMZ, say "[Carter] named Dr. [Arnold] Klein, Dr. [Allan] Metzger, Dr. Barney from Solvang, Dr. Saunders and Dr. Farshchian."

The notes continue, "Carter described JACKSON as being sharp and 'in tune' prior to the doctor visits and afterward he would be out of it and sedated."

The notes also say "Dr. Farshchian told him that JACKSON was addicted to Demerol, but said he was giving JACKSON a placebo to wean him off."

Carter talks of an incident where Jackson was intoxicated in a hotel room and fell on his face. Carter said he confronted Jackson and spoke with him about his drug problem for an hour. Carter said Jackson denied having a problem. According to the notes, "Carter said he told Jackson he was not comfortable in getting prescriptions for him." Carter says he then quit being Jackson's bodyguard as a result.

48. While not everyone agrees with how everyone chooses to live their life, they are someone's loved one whether they are famous or not, whehter their life is perfect or not. You cannot make everyone happy all the time honestly not even half the time no matter how hard you try. It is a tradegy no matter how you look at it; it doesn't make it a difference now whether he died of overdose, heart attack or what. I am sure the people closest to him are now living with guilt and regret that only they can deal with in their own time. All the what if's in this world will not bring him back and neither will putting down those closest to him. What matters now is his children and making sure they are protected from all the rumors surrounding his death. He was just Daddy to them. Imagine for the ones that have children how devasted yours would be to lose you and if they heard awful things about you later. I know how devasted mine were when they lost their daddy. That is all that matters now. Yes, he is an icon and just like Elvis will continue to be so in death as he was in life maybe more so.

51. As much as we hate to see this situation that Micheale was in, I'm glad TMZ is showing it. This is a sad, sad, sad situation. I'm a child Psychologist with specilization in alcohol and chemical dependency treatment. I grew up listening to Jackson 5 and Michael and I are the same age with birthday 1 week apart. All this sadens me deeply but we can't deny the truth under the guise of being a "fan." If we do, then we're in the same space as Michael. I don't believe the people surrounding him where in denial and neither was his family. I saw a new cast earlier about how the family tried to intervene and that anyone who would bring this to Micheal's attention risked being "cast out" or "fired. My response, SO WHAT if you were! They all have blood on their hands and now will have to live with themselves. What have they gained by not saying anything - sure they kept they job with him for a little longer. NOW WHAT! I see the pictures from the raid and this, this is typical strung out addict behavior and living conditions. Michael is gone, and the purpose that this serves is to charge and convict those drug pushing doctors. That's the purpose I see in all this at this point. Someone said in an earlier post, why didn't LAPD call in the DEA back then. THAT'S THE REAL QUESTION! There was some derlegation of their duty because clearly all these pictures of drugs in different names, from different doctors, from differnt pharmacies in one person's house, seems like a crime to me or at least something that should have been investigated. Those type of narcotics (controlled substances) are heavily regulated by the Drug Enforcement Administration. So much so, that Doctors are required to be registered and the prescriptions have to be written in triplicate. I feel so sorry to whatever those young kids were exposed to growing up in that home. I work with those kids and families. I'm sorry, it was NO WAY possible that he was a good father. He may have been before he became totally strung out and that may be some saving grace for the kids mental health. Meaning, hopefully they got what they needed in the early years. But let ust not forget the baby dangling out the window incident. Keep posting TMZ whether people like it or not. HIS FAMILY KNEW AND DID NOTHING! If they truly wanted to intervene, nothing would have stopped them. BUT, how many of them was he financially supporting? I'm sorry if some of you don't like my comments, but I only deal in truth and reality. And sometimes the truth hurts. I'm just sorry it did not hurt enough for someone in the Jackson family to stand up in the same unified front they showed at the memorial. A litlle to late -- don't you think? SAD, SAD, SAD. I look at this now that Michael is out of his MISERY! and I'm glad about that. His self-imposed suffering is over. Now, let's look at the real situation of drugs amonst the rich and famous! Anna Nicole Smith, same sad story.

Peace and Blessings

52. Someone mentioned Child Protective Services -- Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) At the very least the police should have informed them of the conditions of the home. 1000s of kids have been taken away from drug abusing parents because of the emtional damge and neglect that happens as a result. OH BUT WAIT, Michael Jackson had "STAFF" so the kids must be ok. B.S.! This makes me really angry now since a lot of people want to say but think about the kids. OMG -- I'm going to say it -- those kids shouldn't be anywhere near the Jackson family who set back and allowed this man to spiral out of control. Katherine didn't protect Michael when he was being abused by his father. Sorry, I deal in reality and truth. If you don't like it, I send no apologies. There are other people in the helping profession who works with these types of kids and families who think the same as I. But we only speak truth about it in our circle because most of you would become angry with us.

58. I wish I wouldn't have left Hollywood in the late 90's. I think Michael would have been totally different. I feel so down about this. I wish people at his camp would have listened to me. But, I was ofcourse just a crazy fan. Elizabeth Vitale

59. I'm going to tell it like it is...Every since MJ made his first dime from Motown all he's ever tried to do was distance himself from the Black community. He didn't date Black women or want Black kids. He made over a Billion dollars and the majority of it was given back to settle lawsuits and alimony to people that were White. Sure, we want to think he did so much to help us with "We Are The World', but weren't there 15 other superstars devoting their time for this project? Nothing came out of his pocket. Wake up Black Folks and stop providing a smokescreen for the MJs and OJs that turn their backs on us when times are good and run to us for help when they get tangled in legal issues involving their desires for drugs, white women and white kids. Why can't our strong Black women stand up and ask.."Why are we good enough for you in high school and college, but when you get that first contract it's got to be a White woman and a Cadillac? Don't point fingers at MJs siblings for not intervening, he didn't want to be around them either..Oh yeah, they were Black. A junkie can be on a street corner or living in a $100k per month mansion....Just telling it like it TIS
