Jackson Seemed High After Leaving Docs

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson used to leave the offices of various doctors looking "out of it," according to a former bodyguard who was interviewed by detectives during the 2004 child molestation investigation.

Chris Carter, a former Jackson bodyguard, was interviewed by detectives from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department. Carter told detectives he would drive Jackson to doctors' offices in New York, Florida and California. The Sheriff's documents, obtained by TMZ, say "[Carter] named Dr. [Arnold] Klein, Dr. [Allan] Metzger, Dr. Barney from Solvang, Dr. Saunders and Dr. Farshchian."

The notes continue, "Carter described JACKSON as being sharp and 'in tune' prior to the doctor visits and afterward he would be out of it and sedated."

The notes also say "Dr. Farshchian told him that JACKSON was addicted to Demerol, but said he was giving JACKSON a placebo to wean him off."

Carter talks of an incident where Jackson was intoxicated in a hotel room and fell on his face. Carter said he confronted Jackson and spoke with him about his drug problem for an hour. Carter said Jackson denied having a problem. According to the notes, "Carter said he told Jackson he was not comfortable in getting prescriptions for him." Carter says he then quit being Jackson's bodyguard as a result.

61. A lot of the people in his camp were in denial and were just there for the money. I roamed Hollywood and Beverly Hills for years. T knew a lot of people. Michael was a very good person. My writing bloomed in my time in Hollywood and around him. I can't begin to tell you the closeness and the loss now. Again, I just wish I would not have left Hollywood in the late 90's. My daughter went to his grade school. I roller skated on the blvd almost every day with my daughter. I tried. I remember the last time I was there and at a party (not going to mention where) I remember being asked to do some cocaine. That was the last time I spent any time with any of the people I knew. There were other drugs around and I just wanted to write and do music. I left. I now wish I never would have. I was offered so much and turned it down all because of the drug scene. What a shame. I remember so many good memories from some really cool artists. Heartbreaking .. Elizabeth Vitale

62. Dillio ~ Thank you for th insight to some of his life. More people should have said these things while he was alive. There are too many people accountable for his death, someone should have been able to step in and help him. His death has deeply saddend me, I mourn for his talent, his lost childhood and his kind generous heart. I wish I could been on his team, I would have done everything in my power to save him. RIP MJ, you are loved by millions. Some of us have always believed in your magic. Sleep our precious prince.

63. Maybe MJ had a drug problem, but alot of his drug use was just simply to be able to endure what us, his fans and the media put him through on a daily basis. I watched the video, and I was just sickened by the way he wasn't even able to get to his own vehicle, without being hounded in the street. How crazy... Poor MJ, no wonder he was using drugs like he was. He doesn't look drugged up in these shots of him, just looks like a man who is just tired of the media hounding him. RIP Michael. As your brother said, Now maybe they'll leave you alone, Michael.

64. I am getting sick of all of the news airing MJ's dirty laundry and all of the negativity. What about all of the good this man has done?? His family is going through a crisis and are trying to deal the best way they know how. With some kind of dignity and respect. (The memorial was beautiful). I am sure there are some families out there that has a crazy uncle, mom, or dad and you keep their problems within the family and dont go around telling all of their business. Ya, MJ's a celebrity, but he wasnt god, he wasnt perfect. he had a problem and needed help. He was human just like me and you.

69. I have to agree whole heartedly he was GONE TO SOON. I have remembered when i was a 6 or 7 when his thriller video came out it was an inspiration to me. despite all the odds and hardships he faced he just BEAT IT. He was a good father and the only parent his children ever knew. It breaks my hear they lost their father Micheal Jackson and I am 33 year old and still a huge fan. 71. I'm sad that such a great artist as Michael is dead. I did not always agree with all he said and did, but artists, like all of us, have quirks and issues. His music, dancing, choreography, tenderness and talent were nearly unparalleled. It is said he had an unhappy childhood. I believe that must be true. I feel he lived in such fear coupled with his belief he could rescue his family that he worked often to exhaustion at that and even when he grew up, he could not get into touch with who the real Michael Jackson was--the peson separate from his art. I felt sometimes that he wanted not to be black, wanted not even to be a man. He must have been teribly lost at times. I'm not sure that I could remain stable if I earned $400 million dollars early in my career. I would not know what to do first or how to fathom how far that money would go. I'm thankful that he gave a record amount of money to world causes--more than any other artist. I will feel relieved when his Dad steps out of the picture. I don't think he has a right to speak for Michael or Michael's estate.

72. If he was such a drug addict , how can he be a good father? I think most of info about him a lie. All the people who talk about him including his family just looking for 15 min fame. His dauther would never said he was a great dad if that was not true. He could not perform or reheresed that hard and go in tour if he was such an addict..I think he was killed .
