Jackson Seemed High After Leaving Docs

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson used to leave the offices of various doctors looking "out of it," according to a former bodyguard who was interviewed by detectives during the 2004 child molestation investigation.

Chris Carter, a former Jackson bodyguard, was interviewed by detectives from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department. Carter told detectives he would drive Jackson to doctors' offices in New York, Florida and California. The Sheriff's documents, obtained by TMZ, say "[Carter] named Dr. [Arnold] Klein, Dr. [Allan] Metzger, Dr. Barney from Solvang, Dr. Saunders and Dr. Farshchian."

The notes continue, "Carter described JACKSON as being sharp and 'in tune' prior to the doctor visits and afterward he would be out of it and sedated."

The notes also say "Dr. Farshchian told him that JACKSON was addicted to Demerol, but said he was giving JACKSON a placebo to wean him off."

Carter talks of an incident where Jackson was intoxicated in a hotel room and fell on his face. Carter said he confronted Jackson and spoke with him about his drug problem for an hour. Carter said Jackson denied having a problem. According to the notes, "Carter said he told Jackson he was not comfortable in getting prescriptions for him." Carter says he then quit being Jackson's bodyguard as a result.

77. I feel the doctors should not be held accountable for Micheal's drug addiction. People with power and money can easlily get what they want. Micheal should have thought about his kids. I don't care what people say. He should have been strong enough to put his addiction aside and focus on the future of his kids. He was selfish. I feel sorry he passed away, hair was burned, and molestation charges, but the truth is the truth. We are blessed to have a mind and a will to over come whatever life throws at us. He just let it defeat him. As far as the fans, learn a lesson, people are not always who they seem to be. As far as his family, people don't profit from a dead man's money. I don't care how many interviews his family get paid to do, it will never bring Micheal back. LAPD, leave the doctors alone. Micheal knew what he was doing. Let the man rest in peace. Jackson family (greedy family), bury the man and get on with your selfish lives (latoya, Joe and Tito). Get over this sh---t.

78. Well, Michael Jac kson was selfish. He should have cared more for his kids than the drugs. People with power always get what they want.. The Jackson family needs to go ahead and bury the man. The media can make it seem he was addicted because his hair being burned, DAHHHH. The man was a junky. As far as the fans, you now see who Michael Jackson really was. I still respect the music, and I will always listen to it. I just want to tell people, if you really listen to the lyrics, the man was crying out for help. Listen to the song (leave me alone). Maybe the family was to blind to see him as a person. As far as his greedy bother Tito, siter Latoya, and broke down farther Joe, no one profits from a dead mans money. You will spend it as soon as you get. Let the man rest in peace and make your own living. Give his hard earned money to his kids and charity.

82. MJ is a significant in each and every one of our own generation. He had passion for music and it was noticed and you can feel his messages such as "Earth Song, Heal the World, We are the World," He created moves that no one will ever be able to do exact as MJ did either, You may see many impersonators, but they still can't beat what MJ has created and master\ed over time. He will truly be missed by all of his fans, friends, family members and most of all his children.

I just wanted to make a comment on somethings here. We are still unclear of what caused his death, but why couldn't we leave him be. It is so tragic and I get angry when people are trying to pin point each other for his death, but no one will know. Has anyone ever pointed the finger at the FDA? Recession is here not only are celebrities addictec to pain mededcation, but this is happening all over America. Whom is picking up the unpaid bills for ER visits? Whom is paying for prescriptions being dispensed or given to you prior to procedures being done? Was patients warned about the cost of the anesthesia before is? Was patients warned of drugs that were being administered to them before they were treated
Yes, The doctors are reponsible for the patient and their contuity of s care. The FDA knows exactly what they putting out on the market. The FDA should see take responsibility too. Narcotics are nothing to play around with, and the FDA of all things, should know better than to send out medication that can be highly addictive, disable your mobility due to the medication, and these medications will hurt you liver or any of your internal organs if medications aren't taken properly.
Does America have money to spend on prescription drug addicts whom are abusing the system within our state and federal government programs. Narcotics are very expensive.

We need to look into what is really important here. It's such a great loss to see MJ gone, but with his youthful and wrongful death example, this investigation will serve a great purpose for him and his family and for those whom have passed away from this very same addiction or even Cardiac Arrest Condition. Maybe than the government will come to understand that healthcare is very important, but also that being accurate with medical records, watching out for signs of those drug seeking, and watching out for those that are stealing too, just to make up for their addiction. Prescription is very necessary, but caring for patients not only mean more money, but saving lives and continuing to create new and better ways to practice better medicine.
