Jackson Addicted to Xanax, Bodyguard Says

In the documents obtained by TMZ, a former bodyguard of Michael Jackson's says he was a bagman for Jackson and the mission was Xanax.

Chris Carter told Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies he would pick up prescriptions for Xanax for Jackson at various pharmacies, and that Jackson was taking 10 plus Xanax pills a night.

Carter told detectives he expressed concerns to another Jackson employee, who said the singer was actually doing better -- because he had been taking 30 - 40 Xanax pills a night.

46. 10 Xanax a day, i also took that quantity for some years,, prescribed by a dubious doctor..was the hell for me, but guess that can only be deadly if someone has strong allergic reactions or combines it with other drugs.

47. I dont understand if you someone taking 30-40 pills or even 10 pills A DAY wouldnt a person being a human being try to help the person or is money more important if they are paying you not to say anything and now that he is not here you say everything you should have said it when the problem was there.

48. Xanax is a very strong addictive drug, very deeply, very shortly. This is impossible even by having a high tolerance level to incurgitate 40 a night !!! Even 5 of them would drive to coma ! Once you have tried this drug, it is very very difficult to get rid of it. Poor Michael, I wish that all the people having lied in his life could be sent directly in hell.

49. come on now, 30-40 xanax a day??? Dr Gupta said that at the rate of 10/day it's a very high dosage! The human body can only take so much, yes you build up tollerance to it over time but I can not imagine any person being able to take that many xanax tabs and get up the following day, and this is going on for 5-6 years or longer??? ASuperhuman being ,is he?

53. 31. I can't beleive someone is that stupid to take this amount of anything, why don't you just put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger, it would be much easier.Posted at 2:29PM on Jul 10th 2009 by ChuckB

Well, can you believe someone stupid enough to think that he could change his race by changing the color of his skin or change his sex by numerous cosmetic surgeries? Yeah, someone THAT stupid would do it.

56. I read a story a week before MJ's death that said MJ was worried about his health, notably his nose falling off. His family said he was paranoid.

Now, why would a drug addict feel that way?

This is ridiculous, just leave the poor man alone. There's all sorts of **** going on in Korea, riots going on in Iran, and people being raped in Burma, but you guys have to report about absolutely nothing.

60. Stellar credibility...
"Prosecution witness Chris Carter, who had been Jackson's bodyguard from August 2002 – August 2003, was arrested in Las Vegas on February 19, 2005 after police searched his mother's house and found a handgun, and had been accused of robbing a Radio Shack in October 2003, Subway sandwich shop in August 2004, a KB Toy Store in January 2005, and a Jack in the Box restaurant in February 2005."
