Jackson Targeted Dentists to Fuel Addiction

Michael JacksonDoctors aren't the only ones in the cross hairs of authorities who want to find out how Michael Jackson scored various drugs, including anesthesia -- turns out Jackson knew his way around various dental offices as well.

As we have already reported, medical professionals have told TMZ Jackson was an "anesthesia addict," who would would seek out Propofol and other drugs that would sedate him or knock him out. Law enforcement is aware of this, sources say, and dental offices are part of their investigation.

Several Los Angeles doctors have told TMZ it was known in medical circles that Jackson used dentists to feed his habit.

A story just published in the Las Vegas Review-Journal buttresses the stories we've been reporting -- that Jackson had "doctor shopping" down to a science. According to the report, in 2003, a doctor (who spoke on the condition of anonymity) was summoned to Jackson's suite at the Mirage in Vegas.

The doctor says Jackson complained of a sore throat and cough and quickly determined it was a ploy to score prescription drugs. The doctor said, "The whole thing was staged. It was all a lie. They just wanted drugs. They wanted me to call in all these pills under someone else's name."

The doctor says when he refused to go along, Jackson's handlers intimidated him, saying doctors always helped the singer. The MD says at one point he said, "I'll see what I can do," and the handler "came up to me and put a finger in my chest and said 'You do that.'"

32. 19. I didn't know it was possible to get addicted to anesthesia. What the heck?

Yeah, I've never heard of that one before either. But I think the whole anesthesia addiction was an addiction to sleep, or a fear of not being able to sleep. I have severe insomnia myself, and without my meds to basically put me out, I WON'T sleep. Besides all the pain meds which he was obviously addicted to, the things that once put him out for the night, no longer worked. Thus the 30+ xanax a night, and God only knows what other drugs he was on, just to go to sleep. Once those things stop working, it can send one into a panic, with the person increasing dosage to get the desired effect...sleep. No, I've never heard of a sleep addiction, but if there is one, I would be included in that group. Maybe it's more of a phobia of not sleeping. I dunno, any doctors in the house to explain???

33. All the intervention in the world will not help an addict if they are not willing to help themselves. Plain and simple.

34. some recent surveys have shown that nationwide a large number of individuals abusing pain pills got them from dentists (more so than from MDs) including teenagers and here's the worse part: the rx had refills...

35. Why is this all surfacing only now? Incredibly sad that even though MJ may have resisted intervention to assist him, this wasn't reported then....
Anyway, here's something to share:

KVBC-TV, Channel 3 entertainment reporter Alicia Jacobs reported Saturday, citing an informed source, that Jackson's body has been moved out of music producer Berry Gordy's crypt to an undisclosed location.

Jacobs wrote on her Twitter site that Jackson's sister, LaToya, a former resident at Regency Towers in Las Vegas Country Club, was in charge of her brother's body and picked out everything he wore in the viewing casket. Jackson's body was not in the casket at Tuesday's memorial, according to a number of published reports.

According to Jacobs' source, a white glove was placed in the casket, but Jackson was wearing two black gloves, black pants beaded with black beads; a pearl-beaded white jacket he wore to the Grammys and an over-sized gold belt that resembled a championship boxing belt.

Embossed on the jacket were cherubs with large wings, according to the source.

Jackson's hair was styled with big curls.

37. "how were these "handlers" supposed to get paid if Jackson went to rehab? And would he have even needed them if he came out clean and sober? "

38. Ok what I want to know is this. Back in the 90's when they raided Neverland, they found drugs then. Why was'nt he put in jail for that?? Also...The Jackson family said that rthey tried a intervention but MJS security would'nt let them in?? Hmmm? Why did'nt they just bust him out?? Call the police?? Send him to jail?? At least he would be alive right now.

40. I am sure this is going to get much uglier. We really need to prosecute all these doctors and do the same for
all of Michael's enablers. This is just like Anna Nicole and we are in what year since her dealth. The system makes
this to to slow of a process for a very serious situtation that seems all to familiar. Maybe congress can pass a bill as
to phyically taking a sick addicted person into a drug rehab ok, but then you would need to have those blood sucking enablers
go with the process. I'm sure money would work and the threat of prosecution. We are loosing to many people
to drugs and not just the famous.

I just can't believe Michael wanted to do this to his children. This is exactly what drugs do to the mind.

42. All of these irresponsible doctors are now talking to the media, they should be afraid now as they are the one who write the illegal drugs under the other's name. MJ is not an addict, he didn't have his crack from the street but from the doctor who supply and introduce him to all of this strong pills.. track and lock all of them.

44. It's true the authorities and the Court let this man down but, especially, those young children in 2003 when they had most of the goods on his behavior, lifestyle, and the physical condition of "Neverland" to which he was exposing those children. A very sick and disturbing story and all three of the children should be adopted by an extraordinary couple of emotional, academic, social, and prosperous means who can rescue them from anyone who is presently listed in that Will. Those children are physically beautiful and need to be placed in ongoing therapy from the most professional psychologists.

45. What really was Mr. Michael Jackson's problem with drugs is beyond me. Was he a drug user and/or drug dealer? I can't imagine a man so frail consuming so many prescribed heavy mediciations. Mr. Jackson used several oxygen tanks daily as though he was severely asthmatic or having serious breathing problems.

The way his body is being described as having riddles of needle marks I wonder if he used Ketamine, known as Special K, Vitamin K or Cat Valiums, as an injectable anesthetic for his respiratory and insominiac problems. Ketamine is a "DATE RAPE" drug also called "Dance Drug." Ketamine is either sold as a dry white powder or a clear liquid (in its original pharmaceutical packaging). The powder is made by drying the liquid. The residue from this drying process is then crushed and snorted in small doses (called bumps). In rare cases ketamine is injected intramuscularly or smoked with tobacco or marijuana. Whether smoked or snorted, the effects begin in a few minutes and lasts less than an hour; however, drug users of Ketamine have been known to OD or die fatally from it.
